Those 3 tackles Lemons laid against the Swans last week must have really impressed the selection committee. And those 4 disposals that he didn't turnover were superb. Surely if the Suns are serious Lemons is a late out for Lonergan or Fiorini.

So you want Fiorini to keep is spot over Ablett ?
I can not believe that in 2017 people still don't understand how team selection works

Why Ablett?
Why not downhill skier Hall? Or mr 1 game wonder this year in Hanley.
Or 12months out and 2 average NEAFL games in Rischa?
Either way Fiorini is the future.
He shouldnt be getting dropped when he averages over 20 classy touchessnd plenty of run a game

Joke that Fiorini got dropped. Absolute joke
We don't want the same thing happening to him that's happened to every potential talent over the past 7 years
He will understand it's not about form or failing to meet team goals
This is strictly player management
At Hawthorn Trent McKenzie would have been a 250 game star
We've ruined a few careers here at Metricon over the years
I'd rather a fitter stronger fresher Fiorini Bowes Scrimshaw Leslie Joyce group next year than flogging them for no particular gain this year
We're starting to see real player development

I would hope that Fiorini is more about managing midfield workload than getting dropped. He has played fulltime mid the last 3 weeks I think, at 80% TOG.

Note that if a player is listed as 'managed' they cannot be an emergency and cannot be brought into the team. So if he is cover for Gaz he has to be listed as 'omitted'. They will know today if Gaz can go or not anyway.

I am also fine with TMac getting another game. It was a bloodbath after 1/4 time last week and it was his 1st senior game in 12 months. Would need a big improvement though!

I'd take Fiorini over Lemmens in the forwards line anyday. He doesn't have to replace Ablett

Geez if every player had to be better than Ablett to keep their spot on the team we will be running out on Saturday with just Lynch, May and Ablett

On the form of 1 game you would probably drop TMac but this stretch of games is probably deciding his AFL future at the Suns so I think we at least give him 2 more games to turn it around and show something before a decision gets made on him at the end of the year.

At least four members of the cheer squad are meeting with the Prime Minister before the game; this is the Official Opening of the SUNS Elite Training & Administration Facility. Apologies to Robbo, the Sunscreamer's Skipper; Metricon can't hold up banner this week.

Good points you are correct. Much of it (for me) is the frustration of seeing Lemmens getting 15 games in a row doing nothing.
He would not have got anymore than 3 games in a row at any other Club. Yet he has played all 15 games this year. I just can't believe it.

When the team was announced and I said I'd watch the Lemmens haters now u blokes sure didn't let me down
I hate that term 'haters' it's such a wanky millenniums term. Just because you disagree with something doesn't mean you hate it or them. It's a term made up by millennium Facebook babies who avoid real life at all costs hiding at home in their parents house working 5 hours a week.
PS: Not having a go at you Bods just hate that term.

Ha Ha I was firing up as I read that post till I saw the PS

PS I'm not a millennial

I believe there is one and only one major issue with McKenzie

He doesn't have the ticker for contact sports
I disagree with that. He's taken some heavy knocks playing for the Suns. He's got plenty of courage.

I see his problem as a lack of pace over short distances. He gets caught out by players running off him. Opposition teams exploit that.

Speaking of courage, Lemmens is insanely courageous. He puts himself into positions I never would. If only he could improve his disposal.
