Feels weird going into a WC game as underdogs. Back in 2005/2006 we had a good little rivalry going. Then you guys dropped off for a few years, and now you're back. Let's see if we can get a good little 2005 style rivalry going again. I'm sick of having rivalries against s****y Vic-based teams. Bring back the good old East vs West.

Pretty amazing, in the time since you are talking about we've gone from contenders to the spoon and back again while you guys have sustained it. What the hell is Melbourne's excuse?

Perhaps a stat or two will ease the tension. U no how everyone used to talk about Matt Priddis and his clangers. Well u may be suprised to know that Sydney have seven regular players that average more clangers per game than Mat Priddis and Luke Shuey. To put it simply Sydney have 5 players averaging over 3 clangers per game. Most in the forward line. West Coast have 1. And lately he is getting better,
This to me says one of the key parts of the game will be our ability to break from the back line and punish their errors.
The other stat worth noting is for this year we have the lowest clanger rate in the competition, and Sydney has the 3rd highest.

This along with our backline has been the key to our success this year. All we need to do is produce our form under swans pressure. It will be a great lead up to Freo and the Orks

Both of these are directly attributable to our coach. Don't underestimate how far the team can go this year.

Sun twilight is a foul slot that we get punished with since Seven dont want to broadcast games from here and people show up anyway.

I know there's some full of s*** people who claim the Eagles are only 2nd on the ladder because they're catching teams at the right time but... We're catching Sydney at the right time.
