Hardly a home ground and it was 20 points half way though the 4th. We were down 80 by then.

North has 10% of our talent and we have 10% of their heart

Well they had an 9 win from 11 games at Bellerive before yesterday
And we got back to 24 in the 3rd quarter before it all went pear shaped at Spotless
Just saying GWS rolls over teams that don't give a 4 quarter effort
I don't buy the "heart" thing
At the end of the day the guys are playing for each other and at the moment ours aren't

I have some hope for today. Don't expect to win, but thinking we can be close.
Maybe wishful thinking.

Well let's just hope whether it's heart or playing for each other that at about 7pm tonight we can be celebrating a win

While a win against the Hawks is a big ask it is crucial that GCS perform to a level that is AFL standard.

Last week's effort was unacceptable and that alone should sting the GCS into producing a game that the team, club and supporters can be proud of and know the players tried their hardest.

A big loss and poor performance will only place more pressure on the players, coaches and club.

Think the hawks are in for a shock today. Suns by 30. Lynch/Wright to kick 8+ between them. Mids to all step up. Media to Ablett-erate (obliterate?) the hawks post game/week. Suns on to etihad to square it up 2-2.

edit: jaeger to pull up very bruised Monday

Holidaying in GC, so heading to Metricon for the first time this afternoon to show some northern state solidarity and add support for the home team.

IMO, Suns list are a top 8 team on paper. Last week at Spotless an aberration, you caught us on the rebound from Round 1.

Move the ball at speed today and you can definitely take the Hawks, particularly in this warmer weather.

Good luck Suns!

ps. Any suggestions re best food options inside Metricon?

Lynch needs to keep his cool and lead from the front. Expect a great game from a very very good player.

He has the potential to be classified as a champion player (too often thrown around) in the competition.

He is not their yet but as the premium big KPF in the competition i expect him to reach these giddy heights!
