It says Lemmens and Leslie most likely to be culled. Ainsworth has a quad injury, hopefully it is a short one.

Would rather keep Ah Chee in over Grant, will have to wait till 5pm before all is confirmed.

Ah Chee definitely won't play he isn't listed.

According to Michael Whiting "Gold Coast will trim its 25-man squad this afternoon, with defender Jack Leslie, midfielder Jesse Lonergan and young defender Sean Lemmens most likely to be culled." There is no point of putting someone like Brodie in the extended team if he isn't going to play. Let him focus on the NEAFL.

Like the changes (outside of Ainsworth and his quad, hopefully its not too bad). Direct swaps of Leslie -> Harbrow, Matera -> Ainsworth, Ah Chee -> Fiorini (hopefully he plays half-forward with stints through the guts/on the wing rather than down back with Bowes).

However, we still didnt address our biggest problem which is toughness and hard contested footy through the midfield. Lonergan and Brodie both VERY stiff considering what we served up last weekend. We must be hoping like hell that Hall, Sexton and Ablett (probably unfair to throw him considering what we know he can do) lift their intensity and tackle and fight for the hard ball.

Hopefully all the talk is actually backed up this week and we put up a respectable performance for the first time this year. pls.

Also...... FIORINI!!!!!!!!! (No pressure on the kid or anything)

I'm sort of happy with that team .
Great to see fiorini back hopefully has a run through the midfield and then rest forward can't believe lemons gets a game after last week's performance and why isn't will Brodie & Lonergan in as we need hardness around the ball especially against Hawthorn .

Brodie and Lonegran is an absolute no brainer for Lemmens and Bowes.
Lemmens and Bowes had a combined total of 13 possessions in a 102 point loss. Fiorini had 3 times that in his second game.
Now how the f... did they not get dropped. Dumbfounded!
