Don't care what the stats sheet says, Plowman was immense today. Easily the best game he's played.
The back line is looking incredible for the next 10 years, Plowman, Marchbank, Macreadie and Doc.

I've been hard on Murphy captaincy lately, but one could not ask for a better captains goal than that.
Thank you skipper for shutting me up and giving me a reason to believe in your leadership once again.

Every player put in 100% and played wet weather footy perfectly. Bolton set excellent structures. Top win.

The big thing that I noticed (and I only got to see the last quarter) was that the players are becoming more & more united as one. They are sticking up for each other if needed plus they all had big smiles & hugged each other after the siren.
The wins are nice and we'll take them if & when they come but its the overall bonding of the playing group that is paramount IMO. It's this one single feature that will win us many big games in the future.
By the way, if Sam Docherty's efforts didn't give you some pride in the club & enthusiasm for the future then you are very hard to please.

Murphy with a full preseason has been good, hope he continues his form and doesn't get injured as he's deserved a good run at it.
