Maguire was very ordinary in the reserves vs Redlands. Seems to of mentally checked out already. If we're going to bring in a defender to combat Richmond's three talls I think it will be Gardiner.

O'Brien was the only player to really stand out to me. Not too many players knocking down the door in the magoo's at the moment.

And after seeing how effective Macaffer was, surely Raines will come in

I dont think Crisp/O'Brien or anyone will come in from the reserves because reading the player reports they were all pretty average

if you do that, then it proves noone will have faith in the plan. It will also stop the players learning it

I doubt Maguire will come in for 2 reasons:
1.He's been playing forward in the reserves
2. He isn't mobile at all, and would get easily beaten against Richmond's forwards who are fast and agile (Clarke, Lisle and Patful are better match ups)

I also dont see Paine loosing his spot either, his work rate was really good when the ball was in the area. Although he didnt kick any goals neither did the other forwards so he wont get dropped
