Not concerned about what you have done elsewhere. You can't be constructive when you pick or choose.

That's pretty much how it is here, and it helps to stop the forum from turning into a facebook page. Is it really any skin off your nose to back up your assertion about today, spell out why Plowman was a liability out there, and enable others to either agree or debate your assertions? That's how discussion forums work, not just with closed off critical quips. They just seem troll-like and cause others to take the bait.

I did. You didn’t read it. You reacted to something you’ve interpreted because my view is liability and you have a different opinion. Not sure what else I can say sorry. you’re clearly on a troll witch hunt agenda so if I’m to be it do whatever you’re already keen to do. Pretty sure my history despite willing to have controversial views isn’t a trolling one but be my guest and justify your cause I suppose 🤷🏿‍♂️

Not what I saw Dadda. I saw a team trying to run and gun. One point I saw Cunners in the middle of the ground with players around him and instead sharing with his team mates was looking upfield but no one was there. If he is instructed to share the ball amongst his mates with a relase handball and relief kick could have slowed down at least a minute and this is only one example of many.
I don't think Cunners was in a position to receive an SMS from the coach with instructions at the time. Was pretty hectic in there.

Thats not the point. The point is they are still not drilled after four pre seasons. He should have released the handball and shared it with his mates. But didnt as most likely instructed to run and gun.

I am sorry friends, but umpiring didn't cost us the game, snip

This game and its replay should prove to be an excellent education tool for our kids and coaching staff.

Yes, the umpiring was the difference, not just in the last qtr, but through the game. 2 free kicks in a half? 8 for a day and some of them were oof? The scene was set early in the first qtr when (I think it was) Grundy flat out throws a rugby pass, but not pinged. It was the most deliberate throw I have seen at AFL level. He also threw it in the last qtr which eventually resulted in a goal to them. at least 4 non-calls which were blatant free's to our defenders near the goal square in the last qtr alone resulted in 24 Collingwood points. Then there is the awkward question of 'every goal gets reviewed' - except when it may cost Collingwood the game. these are just some off the top of my head. There ere plenty more.

Can you think of equal amounts of momentum and score changing moments which went against the Pies? I'm sure I can't

And yes, it should be used as education. The media department should put together a package of umpiring clangers which Bolts can use when he goes to 'Educate' the league about the rough deal we have been getting all season.

I've had enough of trying to beat 25

No you take a walk I am sick with his underperformance. I dont accept being last in anything really. Something has to give.
You want success without sacrifice. You want time to adhere to your view of ideal rather than accepting it marches on at the same speed as always. You want the process we've gone through rebuilding to result in instant results in spite of the consistent examples set by others on how it works.

Something does have to give, and it's related to how you're assessing things.

I think it's funny that some here are targeting plowman as some kind of hack. He is given the task of shutting down every small to mid sized fwd as well as some of the big fwds. He is constantly under pressure and more often than not does the job.
Plowman was outstanding today. Easily his best game of the year. I've been critical of him this season not for his defensive work, which is generally good, but for his disposal and decision making when rebounding. Too often he makes very poor decisions and also can execute badly. Just calling a spade a spade. Credit to him today though, he was excellent.

Wait I thought Bolts told our players to always stop and prop, then kick along the boundary? I can't keep up with all our "non-existent" game plans and we aren't even halfway through the season....

Bolton coached very, very well today.

Just a game of ******* inches - heartbreaking.

Genuinely shattered after that one. Can usually tell when we look like we will trail off for another ‘honorable loss’ but today I was sensing something very different.

Haven’t been this flat post-game since 2011 semi.
No need to be so flat - we are building something really great. Give it a year or two more. I can’t wait personally

Let's not forget Collingwood were Grand Final bridesmaids. They can play.

Let's not forget that it took a season worth of lop-sided free kick counts like today for them to get there.

When the umpiring is even they don't usually win.
