I'm sure they'll struggle to score, but I also fail to see how we'll kick a winning score against them. Hogan and Himmelberg (if he plays fwd) are a much more threatening prospect than Meek and Fyfe.
Darcy drifting forward is always an exciting prospect though. He could bag a couple.
All Fyfe and Meek need to do is force a contest and bring the ball to ground.
I suspect Fyfe and Mundy may play FF at various stages and both have the capacity to hit the scoreboard....As long as Fyfe stays around 20 metres out :)

Whatever will be, will be. After seeing first hand the capitulation of Brisbane last night I'm no longer too fearful of what happens for our season now. It's a great learning curve. I think this game is another important foundation of how to handle external pressure of ladder positions: Last year not so great. This year: Let's see the improvement.

Would be nice to have a vested interest in tomorrow's games though...

On my way to the game, taking public transport for the first time in Canberra so hopefully I don’t get lost!

It’s cold but the sun is out over here, with a bit of a breeze on and off in the CBD - not sure how it will be on the oval!

Lucked out and booked the same hotel as the team, so saw them waiting to load on the bus, Fyfe, Walker, and Sonny all look bigger in real life! 😂 guys looked ready but relaxed, most had their headphones on and very inward focused as they were walking out.

Hopefully they get us a win!

Did you see Logue?

Freo by 4 goals.
Fast ball movement will see rewards inside 50m as we have speed to get guys open.
If it becomes a ‘slog’ and GWS bring heat then we may not have the forwards to make the most of 50-50 opportunities.

I think at some point we put a little 4-6 goal blitz on them. The rest will be between the arcs.

Freo 13.9.87
GWS 9.7.61

Logue confirmed out
Bamfield in
Tucker sub

So our "talls" today are Fyfe, Banfield and the resting ruck.

Sam Taylor in line for 20 intercept marks today.

Do you know what. I’m stoked Banfield is getting a full game: needs full game conditioning and you can count on him for a couple of goals.

You can’t necessarily count on Logue for a couple of goals.

I’m sad griff is out but glad Bailey gets a full game
