There's a long held belief that teams start games the way they finished their previous game, pull your finger out boys or Sydney are going to do us next week.

Wasted opportunity this game to hammer them.

We're just really not that good. We can't play 4 quarters of football. When we can kick into gear for a quarter we can bury poor teams enough to beat them. We did it in the third against Hawthorn last week and they weren't motivated enough to fight back after it. We've done it in the second today and Eagles are still working hard in the second half. We're not fit.

Don't worry about trouncing bottom teams. We only regain ladder position by beating decent sides, and I'm not seeing much to suggest we can do that.
