Long shot I know but if any Lancefield guys snagged an extra set of white size 10 Asics by mistake could they let me know please. We used the visitors rooms prior to the two's game, and when we came in all our stuff had been moved, along with one of my kids brand new boots that I think he only wore in the warm-up to continue breaking them in. Again long shot I know, but I've promised the family I'd try, Trav from Woodend said nothing was left in the away rooms last night so thought I'd try this way too.

So after a very small sample size, any of the clubs that have played improved enough to push into the top 6 ?

Lancefield and Woodend both looked better than last season, but too early to tell if it'll be enough to sneak in.
Hard to say where Melton are at since Rockbank is clearly in a rough place atm, but to their credit they took care of business very well. Really can't make any predictions on them though until they play some better teams.

Any predictions for this week? My tips:
Rupo over Wallan by 35. Might be underestimating Wallan but I think they'll be a little off the pace and Rupo has something to prove.
Diggers over Riddell by 5. Going to be a nailbiter, but Diggers get the nod because they'll be hungrier.
Romsey over Sunbury by 12. Romsey will be a new-look side this season, but I think the reining premiers will have enough left to get the job done.
Broadford over Macedon by 17. Gut instinct tells me Broadford will surprise Macedon early and the cats will be doing the chasing.

Jason Williams clearance is in from Diggers to Broadford. BJ Kilty also still not come to agreed terms with the club.

Welcome to the forum phantom good to see you racking up plenty of disposals allready.Rupo too fit quick and skillfull.Rupos poor goalkicking flattered the pies.I left with about 5 mins to go score was 75 to 40.Wallan will improve in time with by my reckoning 13 new players tonight.Good crowd but still dont think lights good enough.

Hard to win football games with players on the sidelines. Wallan's discipline was poor after a very good 1st quarter. They should get better.

Riddell surrendered a 15 point lead at 3/4 time by not hitting the scoreboard in the last quarter. Diggers were a team of better individuals which got them over the line in the end. Listened in on both coaches at each break and took away Jamie Elliot is a good match day coach. Simbs appears a little wet behind the ears and too reliant on those around him. Predict tomorrow's game will be the grand final preview and look forward to see Deano's stamp on Bradford while alot has been said about Macedon's preseason.
