Hey Bucks
Yeah Bonnie Doon did put in a clearance for Fletch but he asked me to deny it because he didn't think he could play there due to his wife playing netball on Saturday and he would like to possibly fill in for our 2nds when available
I think he may have played possibly one last year from memory but couldn't be 100% sure on that.

Fair enough thanks for clearing that up skip

Now look here Keston.
How the hell would you know what the Broadford player payments are.
You have stated on this forum that your not there.
So don't comment on a club your not involved with
Was there last year October/nov as footy ops
Still talk to many and was involved previous two years
And possible be back in next month to offer any help required
Depending on family / work that is the only reason I couldn't be involved
And can tell you my point is pretty much spot on that's fact

Yes Wallan have plenty of imports and I'm sure are paying $$ but surely Broadfords recruits are of better quality and from better standard thus cost more$$$ and carry more points. Also Wallan certainly ain't got 10 to come in unlike your mob.I don't begrudge Broadfords success just don't sugar coat the junior program.Hell I played for Broadford in 1989 can I go back as a 44 yr old 1 point player?
Looking forward to next week might catch up with Thespycryptic,Keston, mongrel and Skipper?
Evening Barfly
Looking forward to catching up in a couple of weeks time
You have home ground advantage on the day so the first froffie is on you

It's called the brexit method :)
There is a lot of local talent and longevity players there
That are happy to play together and it's never true how much you think players are paid
The current broadford list wouldn't be no where near the points or payments of Romsey 2014 ....
Or diggers list they are on less points how do they do it ???
Are you serious re- the payments

Wallan coming close to diggers not bad effort.

seen that Alex Maloney , recruit from Hadfield in the edfl got a game in their seniors.. the bloke couldn't get a game or a kick in hadfields C grade team

is Wallan struck down with injuries or has their team selection panel gone mad!?? :S

I don't speak on behalf of the club but I'm an ex player myself.I find your post rude and disrespectful.Sometimes not just in footy but life some people just need a change of environment, increased work rate, natural improement or a stroke of luck.Without knowing the fella I say good on him he's obviously done something right.
Anyway I suggest you get off this forum and onto the AFL one as that's where superstars like you belong. All the best.

Thought he played well and was good cover for Dowsett who was out. Could get another opportunity while Stewart's overseas, although Liam Lucas has been fantastic down in the twos too and might force his way in.

Watched the Macedon vs Bombers game on the weekend and was a cracker. Bombers backline has to be up there with the best in the comp surely?
T.Walsh by all reports is the best backman going around at the moment, possibly up there with best players. Allen's form never seems to hinder even at the age of 50. And the pickups of Sonogan, 2x Treeweeks with D.Sahlberg they played a crucial role in their win

Great win wasn't in on opposition soil. I felt Brayden Allen has shown in the last 12 months he is the most important player in my opinion on the Bomber list. When he fires like he did when Waters went down then the Bombers took over. Like last year, until finals his form was outstanding and so was the Bombers. Interesting call on the backs, I will reserve judgement until I see more, Welsh has been one of the recruits of the year for any team. I like Matthew Pannuchio in his third year now I think he keeps developing wins so much contested ball. Heard there is a few clubs that will try to pry him out of Riddell from other leagues at years end. On the flip, thought Macedon were very good also, definitely had as much footy and looked like they actually had a game style in place though I think the conditions hampered that. Waters is a very good player no matter how much he is paid, clearly the best ruck with Allen and Philpot in the comp, I think these two teams are going to have a really exciting game come finals. Looking forward to seeing summerfield in the dry to, him Harrison, cook, nipper that's top shelf! Good for the league.

Looking at clubs run home Sunbury have some work to do

rockbank. (W)
Macedon. (L )
romsey. ( ? )
Diggers. ( L )
There's only one gtee win there and reckon that you would need adleast ten wins although if there are a few upsets nine might get you 6 th spot but still even 4 more from that group is a big ask
That loss of 4 points round one could bite them on the arse ?

If you look through the games to come a few games going certain ways and nine could get you 5/6 spot all sides around that mix meet a few times

Timmy Walsh is the best backman going around in the competition at the moment .. he's outshining his brother who is a recent league best and fairest in the Bendigo competition..

Yep it's there's to Lose ( they wont
want to meet broadford who where missing picione hickman Grenville wearne and vianni .last time they met at diggers )
Haven't had a chance to see Broadford with their full team yet, but I keep hearing good things so may have to get down to HH reserve and check them out.

Well, Romsey will be kicking themselves tonight. Some horrendous shots on goal today cost them big time today. Having said that, I thought we showed some great fight after being down to two on the bench for the last 1/4. 3 wins for the club on the day.

Have to say I'm enjoying the picturesque venues in the RDFL. Another really nice venue in country Victoria.

Diggers doing it easy. Barring a miracle or a monumental choke. I don't see any team stealing their flag.

Haha well they are known to do the old monumental choke. The key to beating diggers is run the footy. There not getting any younger. I think if riddell get goin they could cut them to pieces within one qtr. there young so can be a tad unpredictable but if they get space they will be there biggest challenger. Within that I haven't seen broadford at all this year. Don't discount macedon at all, there a very good side when waters is up and running. If it rains on any final day no one will get near diggers tho. Still a lot to play out this year my friend.
