Not your responsibility Chris even the ground manager with iPad in hand could have done this
It’s finals even people from a far are still keen to follow it’s a bit hard when you can’t even get progressive scores

Dave, Chris was at Romsey Sunday he said he did the 19's game live may have been a sportsTG issue. Reading Bendigo thread same problem, was all over their thread as well.

Live scores were done for the 19s and I did the Seniors. Given that we were unable to get a radio team up for the finals thanks to lack of volunteers; Gav would usually do the live scores for all football games with goals etc ..

I could get senior scores all afternoon on my phone app ... thanks Ledg

Pressure right on rupo now to not go out in straight sets.
Riddell going along very nicely indeed and by looking at the Macedon vs Wallan game , Macedon look to have all their top line players back from injury for the first time this season, if they keep all those guys on the park they will once again be very hard to beat.

Shattered about not having radio this finals series. Received quite a number of calls and comments on the weekend of people that were disappointed it wasn’t happening.

Riddell were very impressive on the weekend, as were Diggers.

No radio, might have to bring back the preview/reviews on BigFooty.

Selections for this week
Ruppo vs Macedon at romsey Park I believe that Macedon have been holding back and are in red hot form at the right time where as ruppo must be wondering what ladder they walked under be a tight contest but being romsey and more physical can see the cats getting up hope I’m wrong
Riddell vs diggers Riddell are the quite achievers and I reckon will be eventual premiers but I think they may not get up over Diggers, Diggers had a comfortable win last start and being at clarke oval again may just get them to the big dance but I feel the bombers will bounce back the week after and be eventual premiers making up for there loss a couple years back in extra time .
Promises to be a cracking three weeks.

Word on the street is that Rupo is making at least one change this week[/QUOTE

No doubt a few neighbouring RDFL clubs would already be circling Kyneton players for 2019.
yep two ex Rupo 1 pointers in that tigers side including the captain, I think Some meetings will happen for sure.

So clubs are ready to rape and pillage what a joke,so meetings with ruppo and ex players will happen for sure get the knifes out lads. How about clubs offering some help some way just shows how our game has gone to the shit no loyalty no mate ship.
Reading the article the club has got on there front foot and there are some on here trying to pull the rug out. How about all the current team play one season for a base payment to cover there costs knock back payments elsewhere and show some character and loyalty a season of mate ship fun family or are we that hungry for a dollar.

Dave Rupo like all other clubs talk to ex players every summer, the points system caters for that as they come back as a 1 pointer, it is called smart recruiting, not the word you have said that starts with R. Anyway yes the article says Kyneton are looking to rectify the problem so who knows but I'd imagine the Kyneton squad like most players all over would get calls from other clubs.

Dave, clubs weren't backward in poaching our guys in the ammo days, not sure what is wrong with trying to bring some of them home.
Unfortunately, it is not the first time Kyneton has been through this, maybe they need to reassess their business model.

Hang on Dave it wasn't that long ago I attended a meeting with yourself, Skip, Hally and Gav and there were 3 young Romsey kids in the venue as potential recruits, and then other Redback names like Henderson, Austin etc were all mentioned as "targets" ... whats the difference?

We got to late Feb in 2008 at Broadford before we learnt that a handful of senior players were heading to Bonnie Doon and good on them as they were rumerated better than we could meet, it happens and its much easier to recruit a car load than individual blokes from here/there and everywhere.
Those boys went had some success and most came back to play at home again. Timing was crap for our young kids as we thought we had a real window based around a dozen grown men but we didn't let it define us.

Not to this reported magnitude but a lot of clubs go thru. Broadford mutliple times over the years have had to withold a few weeks payments until some off field commitments were met to local traders .. and then they square up before AGM time in order to finalise that year's business.

Yep Grigg got a week, interesting result to be completely honest. Oh well you get that dontchya. Anyone seen the footage, not sure it was a strike?

He's a genius if he can go from the bump position to hitting a guy and returning to the bump position in the space of less that a second. Sounds suspiciously like someone was bulltishing at the tribunal. Hopefully the Karma Bus is in the area in the coming games

Romsey where not on there knees like Kyneton but in a premiership window think your putting a totally different spin on it. Remember that day also a number of other recruits also we where putting our hat in the ring like other clubs do year in out, but my point is different Kyneton are trying to be honest find a way and some are worried about how they can get guys back to there club leave the other club further in the shit

Perhaps the wording andsome e sensitivity to Kynetons plight instead of diving in with dragging our boys home read the article read my points don’t want you see any club go down the hole

My early post shows the quality of people when bs is to the wall you roll up the sleeves and chip in not worry about your own back yard and help out a fellow neighbour.
Would be great to see a club be supported without the $$ in payments by players to save there plight.
