Former coach of Kyneton who still plays reserves when needed?
Is the because he is going to Strathmore? Be great to see him back at Riddell. Wander if Hodgson from Sunbury lions would be interested?

Now that would be huge and put the cat amongst the pigeons at gissy for sure. Could be the start of bigger names coming back into the RDFL which would be fantastic. Makes me worried for some of the smaller clubs tho.
Don’t think Pat will be coaching Kyneton.

What chances of Broadford coming over for 2024?
They want out of the Outer East league and have approached the Kyabram league from all reports, but I cannot see enough KDL clubs voting them in.
The Heathcote league has enough on its plate with clubs from all over the place wanting in, which has raised a rumour that the Heathcote and Loddon Valley leagues may end up merging in the near future. The northern boundaries could well end up including Cohuna and Bears Lagoon-Serpentine (both 200+km one-way trips) and Inglewood (as good as two hours away) so Broadford are unlikely to get a look-in if the league's catchment area shift to the north and north-west, plus recruiting players would be a nightmare with all the travel they'd need to undertake.
Therefore, the best available option would be the Riddell league.
