WSJ News Exclusive | WWE’s Vince McMahon Agreed to Pay $12 Million in Hush Money to Four Women

The longtime chief of World Wrestling Entertainment secured nondisclosure agreements over the past 16 years to keep secret allegations of sexual misconduct and infidelity.

The previously unreported settlements include a $7.5 million pact with a former wrestler who alleged that Mr. McMahon coerced her into giving him oral sex and then demoted her and, ultimately, declined to renew her contract in 2005 after she resisted further sexual encounters, according to people familiar with the matter. The wrestler and her attorney approached Mr. McMahon in 2018 and negotiated the payment in return for her silence, the people said.
In another previously unreported deal, a WWE contractor presented the company with unsolicited nude photos of Mr. McMahon she reported receiving from him and alleged that he had sexually harassed her on the job, according to people familiar with the woman’s 2008 nondisclosure agreement. Mr. McMahon agreed to pay her roughly $1 million, these people said.

I saw the trailer when I went to see Top Gun the other day.

To me, initially it looked like it was a parody of the Thor franchise but then it changed and looked like it was supposed to be another instalment of the marvel franchise.

If the trailer was confused I’d hate to think what the movies like

* Top Gun was excellent btw once you forgive the Tom Cruise ego stroking and just enjoy the ride

It's very light-hearted, doesn't takes itself particularly seriously apart from a few moments and those are just plain not great.

I'm yet to hear a bad review about Top Gun, which I'm totally surprised about - I assumed it was going to be garbage.

It's very light-hearted, doesn't takes itself particularly seriously apart from a few moments and those are just plain not great.

I'm yet to hear a bad review about Top Gun, which I'm totally surprised about - I assumed it was going to be garbage.

I’m not a Tom Cruise fan mainly because I don’t like that cocky swagger he brings to his movie roles. It just irritates me

That said, there’s times when that unadulterated arrogance suits the role. The original top gun was one of those movies

It also suits the sequel which improves on the original because the plot has a genuine purpose behind the flight school training beyond dick measuring and a really good connection to the original with its characters

It’s rare but the sequel is a much better movie and is genuinely moving in places
