Another thing thats grinding my gears recently is how humid Perth/WA has become over the years. Like even Spring/Autunm had come muggy af weather. I hate this s**t and would rather high 30's and it being dry than these late 20's/early 30's that are muggy
I love humidity, don't understand the hate myself

There is nothing good about humidity other than it providing great conditions for plants to grow

It’s stifling and sucks every ounce of energy out of you

Humidity sucks because none of our physiological mechanisms for homeostasis work very well in humidity. Sweating? No wind, high moisture environment, useless. Vasodilation? No wind, reduced effectiveness. All you can do is remove clothing, reduce activity and try to find a cooler area.

I'm onboard.

Righto Dr Truck

My chillies like it though

I dont mind humidity... prefer it to thr sun sucking every drop of water from my body while trying to burn it to a crisp!!... that's what the sun feels like on the rare trips back to Aus theses days!🫣

No one wants to be sweating while doing **** all.

One of my worst experiences of humidity is getting off a flight to Singapore. Was freezing on the plane and instantly sweating on the aerobridge as I got off. You could literally cut that shit with a knife.

This is only eclipsed by when i lived in Sri Lanka and had to endure hours of power cuts daily and had to endure that with no aircon or fans

That's the hardest thing I have trying to explain to people. It can be 35 degrees and 90% humidity in Saigon, but I don't burn. Mow the yard for 2 hours in Brisbane, without wearing any protection, and I'm burnt bright red and not sleeping for a week.

So this morning there was quite a commotion outside our bedroom window - a group of crows going off their collective **** for no apparent reason. (Blinds were closed so couldn’t see out the window)

Walk out the front door to go to work and there’s a dead crow on the ground next to my car which would explain all the squawking earlier

Dead crow is now swinging in the breeze watching over the chickens. Didn’t even need to collect this one off the side of the road.
