How hard are they thrashing it out that you can hear it through the floor.

They have a very squeaky bed. It doesn't sound that vigorous. I'd already noticed the woman's voice seems to resonate through the pipes/bricks/concrete more than any other tenants' did but this is way more annoying than her having a conversation from the bathroom and clanking stuff around in drawers for half an hour while I'm trying to get to sleep.

Maybe they need more soft furnishings.

I went on a trip with friends once and they took the bedroom next to the bathroom. One night I had to tinkle and they were playing hide the sausage quite loudly.
