Our injury room is feeling a little light atm, Him and Woodward would fix that right up.
Ballard, Holman and perhaps Colledge. If no key defenders in draft, maybe look to rookie either Fields or Bourke just for some size down back in the twos also. Then just pick best leftovers available in the draft to fill remaining spots.

We SHOULD be real pros with those ACLs by now- and I know we've got the rehab ward all set up for that particular injury, so why not?
We also specialise in navicular injuries, so if there's anyone suitable out there that you can recommend to help take up a place in rehab, please point them out.

I'd like to see Tyrone Downie, ex gc 2's, bendigo gold get a run at it, was a shining light in a Horrible bendigo team and dominated 2's last year at GC but was unable to get an upgrade.

The return of Simpkin for depth and would help the VFL side too...
the list on the AFL website of all the 'worth a look' players has a "would suit" list for each player. Geelong isn't listed for any of them....does that mean our list is perfect as is in the eyes of the AFL journos?

But that's not bad news for Alex, its actually a good thing for him. He ended up with an infection in his knee after his 3rd reco which meant that that graft didn't take. They had to clean out his knee to clear the infection, and scans now show that his knee is clear of the infection so they can proceed with a 4th reco.
He has also had bone grafts in the knee, I guess something similar to what Menzel did before his 4th reco, to make sure that the bone is strong enough and in suitable condition to have the surgery.
Everything lined up after recent scans which means he can move forward - so while it initially sounds bad, when you read into the story about where this has come from its a good thing for the guy.
Oooooh there is a big backman from Collingwood who might be worth a (long term) look.....

not saying he will start every game but some of the youngguns will struggle and Ray brings that elite outside game
