Yes Eagles as cool as they are (not the football club lol)they can eat small dogs , little birds etc. We have 4 living somewhere up the back. I know when they are above as the magpies have a warning call and the all the other birds go nuts . Have some footage but it’s a bit too big to upload

We lost a chicken last year and it was right in the security Camera coverage area, precisely when the power supply on it failed :-( . so dont know if it was a fox or a wedgie. it coincided without Jack being contained after being hit by the mail contractors car, he normally would chase of any foxes. he is back in action now and you hear the dog door go when he hears anything night or day.

Trains are completely and utterly f*cked on the ballarat line. Got to southern cross at 4pm. Told to go to sunshine via metro. Get there to see no less than a thousand people waiting on coaches trickling through. Skipped that to get a taxi to caroline springs, where they said the trains will start from. Now been here 40 minutes, still no trains.

First one coming through isnt even going as far as ballarat, and the next few will certainly have 2+ hours worth of peak hour commuters on it.

Fun times.

Our dogs and a maremma we’re sitting were going absolutely off at something/someone in the back shed at 3am yesterday morning. Dunno if it was man, beast or gh-gh-ghost but it was freaky all the same. Couldn’t see anything though and all appeared normal next day 🤷🏻

You live in Yowie country don't you?

Started shearing down here this week so naturally it is raining, blowing a gale & cold
That will be us soon, carbon copy of last week, low 20s to wind, hail cold in 12 hours. Front moving through Melbourne now. But not complaining because it was very dry last week. Topped the dams up and they are all spilling again, always good to be at capacity.

Before the rains came needed a bit of quality rime on the venerable ms261

Was going to ask if anything had fallen. Was doing a burn off the other day and a massive branch in the paddock near me fell , shook the ground it was pretty big. Still use axes and saws, chainsaw’s are fiddley thing’s especially when you’re a novice. Have a battery stihl but it’s only small

I can’t remember if I wrote anything on here .

keep the chain sharp, deffo get a pferd chainsharp 2 in 1 file that does rakers as well as cutters, and a few passes often to keep the edge on the chain, you can get cheap knockoffs now ( original ones are like 70 bucks but knockoffs are 20 odd. ) , but need the correct one for your chain size
shopping

These are bloody great.

You could race a chainsaw with one in certain circumstances and win. They make 750mm and 1m length ones as well.
