OK so just got home from a couple of well deserved days away and checked out our chicken coupe, the rest of the ladies are accounted for but the fox has been back as seen by all the rest of the mesh above the coupes perimeter fence all torn, fortunately the corrugated iron reinforcement on the coupe did the trick. back at work this week so no stakeouts but next round of days off game on.

hasn't come back yet afaict, boomer has alerted me to a couple of incidents but none re mr fox, even the possum that has been occupying the large gum tree beside the barn is conspicuously absent??

the lad at the grain store said about 20 of his customers had mentioned fox attacks in the last week or 2.

just picked up an old 5t chain block for 50 bucks, the block is cactus but the 8m of 80 grade 13mm chain was worth the deal.

I was going to suggest Hydrofluoric Acid, but yeah, molasses. That could work.
