For the life of me I don't understand why a professional athlete would want to booze it up during the season anyway. Even with a week off to recover it will have lingering negative effects on his physical condition.

The guys aren't robots, they need their down time

During our clubs week off guys went on Barossa wine tours, some went over east etc. They wouldn't have been drinking only water on them.

Dare say players from 16 other clubs would have done the same.

Because Collingwood have made it abundantly clear he has a free pass and can do as he pleases because he is a good footy player.
Same as why Cousins went on massive benders, we didn't call him on it for years and turned a blind eye so it became an acceptable behaviour.

I don't have an issue with him partying in Bali on his time off, but to film it and post it on line considering both his history, and the fact he's currently chasing a big money, long term contract, I doubt his IQ even gets into double digits tbh.

I don't see anything wrong with the video really. And he's right, he does have a target on his back but that's of his own making.

What I do think is ridiculous are his demands. Jordy can either be the party boy or have a cleanskin mega contract, he can't have both.

And really, any character issues aside, his football doesn't demand it.
