I think I misheard "penth whistle" as "peth whistle" and always thought it was pethidine in there. Pethidine is a rapid onset opiate pain reliever.

My Mum got shot full of it one night when she slipped a disc. She was absolutely flying for reference.

Long term win for Collingwood really.

He’s always going to be an idiot, not only obvious through his actions but also his social media response. That trip and his response to it has probably cost him at least 500k long term.

But he’s done nothing sackable this time, but enough to put off other suitors for the price he’d be asking and will end up staying at Collingwood for far less than he planned and his management can’t really argue the price up.

If he does spit the dummy and wants to leave, he’s uncontracted and any other club would also get to grab him for far less than he’s asking.

It's also incredibly toxic to the body with extended use and the more use the more the body builds a toxicity to it, has very limited time in how long it lasts and whilst Methoxyfluorane is a good pain reliever it's real use is not so much about stopping pain but making you high enough that your body doesn't care as much about the pain.

Major linked issues to massive kidney and liver damage as well as links to ongoing depression, loss of balance through nerve/synapse function as well as ongoing mood changes and permanent short term memory loss.

There is a reason it is primarily only used by paramedics as well as Australia's and a couple of other countries military medics.

TBH mate it's a very, very dangerous drug. In it's gas form it's also odourless and tasteless, the reason why you use the whistle inhaler is one so that the treating paramedics can see how quickly you're inhaling but also to add an odour and taste so you know when it's run out. At which point most people ask for more.

It's nowhere near the strength of some other opiates and why Fentanyl is injected into your blood stream for extreme pain once in hospitals.

Truly it's not to be ****ed with. If you want to get high or have a similar safer effect make hash butter and make brownies and add in some dried and crushed peyote. It'll last for 12 hours or more depending on dosage and is a million times safer and more fun.

On the degoey front looks like a big win for Collingwood and if he goes it will likely be on a big enough contract to get them another first rounder. If he stays it'll be a shorter contract, with an out clause and saving them 200k+ a year.

Let's say they drop a bit and finish 10th. Trading pick 2 for 9&10 is something I would strongly consider in this draft and if the past is anything to go by most clubs would be willing to do that trade for very top end draft access. North or Essendon are probably still stupid enough to slug up the money and contract to get Collingwood a first round compensation pick. North in particular if they feel they could lose Horne-Francis.
