you'd give captaincy to holland and johnson before shaw??? even lockyer?

It's not too bad of an idea, but it is very premature. I could see him possibly being a captain of the club one day. Ive always admired his heart, just not always his talent/skill. As of late he has come through in the talent stakes.. just needs to improve his skill and he'll be there.

It's a stupid suggestion for a lot of reasons but who at Collingwood is more Collingwood at heart?

His dedication and attack on te ball is unquestionable but he will be captian when the pies are smiling in late september- a long while away

He has been fantastic this year & would be close to leading the Copeland trophy @ this stage, but the talk of captaincy is getting a bit carried away!Maybe in a few years,if he continues with his consistent form,he may be elevated to the leadership group, but very premature @ the moment.

I reckon collingwood should give the captaincy to Rhyce Shaw, of late he has been in stellar form!

Tarkyn Lockyer

He's a disgrace.

Id love to see rhycey get the top gig until bucks comes back.

It would do wonders for him and wouldnt hurt us one bit atm.

Hes love for the jumper is unquestionable, unlike a few of his more highly fancied teamates.

And brilliant pies you are a complete **************.

Not only as a supporter of Rhyce Shaw, here is my opinion on the captaincy to Shaw?

Rhyce is certainly a leader on the field. Plays with his heart in every single match he plays. Doesn't give up, and now is becoming a name we hear everyday because of his form. But he won't get the captaincy. Not experienced and as mentioned before, there are more before him such as Jimmy, Pebbles, Josh and even Ben Johnson, before the duo of Buckley and Burns retire.

As for Tarkyn Lockyer, shouldn't be the captain of the Pies, reason, he needs to lift his game not only performance, but leadership. Need more of him in a nutshell. No just got over an injury bull********. His form is poo, can't wait till he gets that form back though!

Probably the first thing we both agree on. :)

Considering Buckley is injured, and may retire during the next few weeks to end of season!

So why isn't this staggering piece of news in the media.

Where did you get the news that he "may retire during the next few weeks"

Did you speak to Bucks about this, because I don't think he knows about it

Tissue?

Rhyce Shaw is no where near captain quality. Would struggle to be captain of Williamstown. You people are idiots for even suggesting him.

I pity you!

I didn't say that he WILL retire. I said Buckley MAY retire in the next few weeks onwards towards the seasons end. That is why captain threads have been on here for the last few months!!!

I never said he WILL, said he MAY.

Buckley will never retire. He will play untill he dies, even if he plays in his wheel chair. Buckley is not allowed to retire. Imagine the day when Buckley is no longer on our list.

OK so why MAY he retire.

Where else have you seen it writen that he MAY retire.

I have only read good news stories about his op, and that he is back in light training and he is expecting to return "by about round 10" they were his words.

So that brings me back to my original point that you felt was worth rolling your eyes about twice.

Why not keep Bucks as captain

Whiskey McKay.

What problem do you ahve with me saying Buckley MAY retire. We have no idea when he is going to retire, and all Collingwood faithful know that it could be soon, and hope it is not.

Now, the rolleyes was you attacking me, and making me look like I have said that he will retire. I never said he will, but i said he may. Leon Davis may retire, Josh Fraser may retire, James Clement may retire.

There are three other seperate arguments. Why not just state that i said Davis and Clement and Fraser will be retiring.

FFS.

OK but just clear a couple of things up

Post 16 and post 19 both Rolleyes by YOU.
I didn't use the roll eyes at all.
I had no discussion with you until you quoted my post about Bucks staying as Captain.
I didn't attack you because we were not in discussion until after you used the roll eyes.
That should clear up your misconception

Still can't see where you get the idea Bucks MAY retire.

And if possible I would like to hear the info you have about Leon, Josh and Jimmy retiring too.
Wow anyone left
