I think Mini was okay in the press conference but we need a rebuild.

This is nothing against these players rather its a positive as they would have some currency.

I would think about trading Lynch.

Trading Vlastuin possibly to the Bulldogs that are weak in defence.

Trade Prestia to Melbourne maybe who he supported as a kid.

Trade Baker to West Coast maybe.

Bolton is a little should we or not as he is a star unicorn type and a little younger so maybe not. Obviously need something really good to come back given age, talent and uniqueness

Broad we could trade if we get something decent

Graham is younger but he might have better opportunities elsewhere if we get something reasonable back. If not keep

Nank would have some currency but maybe keep him for leadership. If he left we could play the youngster Ryan and Soldo.

Dusty, well it is up to him whether he wants to have a crack somewhere else or play. Before I was reluctant to trade Dusty, which is up to him, and its nothing to do with Dusty, it is just I think our overall list might be further away from contention than I thought

This is not about these players rather the current list overall cannot be in contention in the next three years to me so what do these players want to do??

I am really reluctant to let Balta go due to age and what he offers. The other thing is with Taranto, Hopper and a few others the new players of youth need leadership and guidance to help them develop

That is just my view point, others will not agree, which is fine but that how I see it

So instead if writing I am talking crap, play Sonsie, play Brown and others and lets see where the youth in our list are at against better opposition and lets have a focus on development!!

Have you seen West coasts results of late? Is that what we want to turn into?

I still think minibus deserves the job for 2 years, but if he continues to play those slow lazy small to midsize forwards in last nights game then he needs to be thrown in with the interview listed candidates.
waaay too early to say. certainly one very poor effort by the team shouldn't adversely affect his chances. it'll be on his wider record. as i've said, i'm confident the club will be thorough and diligent.

Should be thrown in the process no matter what. Footy department needs a clean out for me new ideas and a new voice with coaching , fitness and conditioning to. We need to get back to our high standards.

We should target the no1 fitness person in the comp. Full change mostly from within the coaching panel.

If Mini doesn't select Bauer to play this week and help his development, he is clearly putting his aspirations for the permanent coaching role ahead of what's better for the club. And fans.

This is my line in the sand moment and I'm not holding back

Look ... you are wrong in none of what you said.
But the club, including Benny Gale want results
Selfless McQualter is an unemployed McQuallter and he's be committing career suicide by not trying to win games.
And no football club board is going to appoint a caretaker coach who loses games.
Harsh reality.

This is a bit of a conundrum as on one hand loading up with youth may feel we re lessening chances however senior players have not consistently delivered and several are, losing trust , it’s disappointing that dimma didn’t intro a few like banks,or Bauer when he had the chance losing 4-5 in a row ,,,we’d be better for it right now , mini shouldn’t make the same mistake

He has a golden opportunity in his hands and Id like to think he can capitalize if he gets the right support , we ll see

I should have added, I am all for us playing youth and getting a good strong look at Bauer, Banks, Brown and anyone else with a surname starting with B.
It's been frustrating.

The sad part is we should have been well into that by now and our w/l would be indifferent

Whoever gets the gig has a tough job ahead of them. Our young talent is way off the mark, and our ageing and injury prone elder talent can't paper over the cracks (they are the cracks). If you are only as good as your bottom 6, then heaven help us. We have been very ordinary in developing our young players over the last couple of seasons. We have left it to late, and now have the problem of having to play too many youngsters at the same time, rather than a slower transition. We have a long way to go.
