When the club has openly stated it wants to test the market I would have thought not contacting Josh Carr would have qualified as breaking news.

Kenny is going to be extended for 2 years. Carr won't hang around.
Not 100% sure.
There was a lot of talk about overload of work on the coaches.
Remember the footy dept took massive pay cuts in 2020 during the Covid crisis. So the coaches were doing very long hours and resources were reduced when cuts were forced on clubs(How much did the AFL hierarchy lose in salaries?? Zero).
Leppa had a crack in business outside footy in 2021.

What suceesful era has Carr been part of the coaching panel ?
The success of AFL sides he has been at whilst coaching has been quite ordinary , this year by far the best.
Is being a ex port Adelaide little on field grub now a pre requisite for the Richmond coaching job ?

He coached his own sanfl team for starters, and took them to a premiership.
