I'm already looking forward to it. Tigers VS Blues first up. Cousins V Judd. Richo etc. Two good young lists. Two superpowers waiting to get on a roll. Clash of the giants. Hopefully and probably 80,000 at the "G".

Daniel Jackson is our main tagger. He's been working his ass off in the pre-season. I have no doubt that he'll be able to run with anybody, including Judd.

All us Carlton's supporters don't need to worry about Cousin's - it's about the match as a whole. With all this hype from Richmond supporters sounds like they've just recruited (as someone said before me) Gary Ablett Jr. It really isn't that situation.
Cousins will probably play a half forward/ bench role with bursts in the middle so I wouldn't be including him in center bounce match ups.
I would love to see him and Murphy on each other.

I love it how people (RFC fans) are rating this as Cousins vs Judd, are they aware that they two guys get along and aren't out for blood, that they also play different roles and won't match up on each other, and the fact that Cousins is a good chance to be out injured with a hammy after being out for so long...(well maybe a hammy) 
Carlton beat RFC without Judd in the RFC Celebration Fizzle so why having a fully fit pre seasoned Judd not going to make it worse for them, a crack head liek Cousins will only make it harder after the match to accept the loss.

He hasn't played for over a season , is over 30 , and hasn't had a full pre season .Mr Cousins may not even be in the side for game 1 , so why worry about him yet ?
I reckon Gibbs should play on him, he has been tagging and will run him off his old feet.

He has done his apprenticeship as a run with/tagger type player. Also with Stevens out round 1 its time to let Gibbs demonstrate those brownlow type skills that he posseses and believe me he will win a brownlow. He is all class..
Cousins will be lucky to be anywhere near 20% match fitness and will be no threat. Can have Browne or Armfield do a run with role as he will most likely play up forward mostly.

We discuss your entire team for similar reasons. Can't always be so serious about the game. A laugh break keeps us sane.
And yet there isn't a thread on every other Richmond player, despite several of them being more dangerous at this stage, than what you pressume Cousins will return to. In fact, I doubt there's a thread on any other Richmond player.
You guys are almost as obsessed as we are with Benny C.

Flawed, tragic, fallen heroes are far more interesting than perfect, law-abiding types. Everyone loves the anti-hero. Dean, Brando, Richards, Reed, McEnroe, Conners - people who **** up royally on the world stage get our attention. Mostly because we are interested to see exactly how big they will actually **** up. If BC screws up again it will be the biggest crash & burn imaginable when you consider his past, his second chances and his semi-sincere contrition.
If it goes well for him he will be a dangerous opponent. Whatever happens expect him to be talked about and as we all know there's only one thing worse than that.
