Richmond is awful

Do Richmond supporters know what consitutes holding the ball? I mean FFS. I nearly threw my drink at the screen everytime a Richmond player "tipped" a Swans player, and they cried "Ball".

No you assholes, they actually have to tackle the player, not tip them. It's not catch and kiss.
Here, here. I had a gutful last week of all the Richmod folk around me not even bothering to watch the game, just shouting out at the top of their voice everytime a Carlton player laid a fingertip on the ball. FFS, get over yourselves and watch the fking game, you bunch of drunks.

richmond are an absolute disgrace the way they flooded today was beyond pathetic they really did deserve to lose and they did thankfully any team that plays that **** deserves to lose every game

thought Richmond did ok, one notable difference was the ease at which Sydney controlled the ball across half back and used the flanks to set up plays. Richmond on the other hand did well to man up Syd's fwd line, just needed a bit more polish on some of their disposals under pressure. Brown & Simmonds (Spida was BOG) could have got them over the line.

You better hope you beat the hawks. Your coach won't be sleeping too easy if you don't. Melb are ordinary at best.

Do you think it might be a situation of all fans nitwit?

Watching your game against Geelong - 5 times the same thing has occured.

Shut up and back in your hole......

Just got back from the game, while extremely annoyed that we lost i was happy with the way we went about it!

The way we played today is the way we should play all season! couldn't fault the style of play: very attacking and physical.

For those who think Richmond flooded then well get to the game and have a look because you have no idea! Every-time Sydney got the ball in the CHB to Centre of the ground the swans backs ran forward and the richmond forwards ran with them which is how you get taught as a pee-wee.......if your man runs off you go with him!

I agree on the umps! there were some shocking calls sydneys way which hurt us but the free kick count was reasonably close at the end i think!

as another poster suggested it was just calls in critical times that really hurt the tiges.

The Tiges played well for a young up and coming side and i think regardless of how our year turns out we have a very bright future!

Can you ask the mods for a name change? Perhaps SSDD is a better name for you.

So does this change peoples views of Carlton? Richmond played no better today than they did against the blues ?

Yet Carlton only beat the rabble richmond - Sydney scrape home and Richmond are champions that will win more than they lose

I think tonights Geelong/Carlton game says infinitely more about where the Blues are at than the Swans/Tigers game.

Had a red hot go to the end which doesn't happen often.:thumbsu:

Surprised there isn't a thread on the umpiring. I thought the interpretations today esp a few obvious ones were clearly in Swans favour.

I reckon it is time to try making Richo a specialist FF. Gee he tries his guts out but goto is too predicable. ( oh and must lead to pocket he can kickem from there;) ) Maybe make Polak play CHF?

Well done for the effort ... but too many underdone passengers.

But you can't call them soft. If they lose this one it just shows how topsy turvy this round is.
A tip for next week. pick all the winners then swap them around :)
They should still win this one.

Hey FM, did you just see Cain Hackland miss from 20mts out directly in front? Geez you blokes have offloaded some dud ruckmen recently. We've got one of them. Take him back please.

What was most frustrating was how the interpretation of the holding the ball rule was so completely different to round 1. Absolutely ridiculous that the same rule can change so much in one week. Both teams should be sending a 'please explain' to the league, how are the players meant to know what to do?

What's go with your mob FM? Pretty ordinary the other night.
like I said everything is a bit upside down atm, which is normal at this stage of the season. We have blokes needing a bit more game time, some have come and gone already :( The Lions were very good and most sides will have a headache up there this year. Our game against Melb was good..maybe it's the service on the jets?:p
Early days :) :thumbsu:
