You really do need me to slow it down for ya don't ya jizzdish. Hanging yourself by your testicles equates to being a stretchednadmond supporter!

Asking me about my testicles is a bit personal dont you think jizzdish?

Hawks 9 bogmond 8:thumbsu:
Sorry mate, i shouldve understood the testicle metaphor or whatever it was...

Nah, I didn't think asking about your testicles was personal, i thought your post was an invitation...

Read the start of the thread dipsh*t, this thread isn't about recent history, it's about the 83 years since the hawks joined the comp

Actually, the 'Hawks' never joined the comp.

Nice mascot.

Almost as good as this, from your Wiki page:

Richmond opted for yellow and black striped caps, the same as the cricket club. After a couple of years, yellow and black stripes replaced blue as the colours of the team's guernseys. The team was variously called the "Richmondites"

Richmondites? Are they like Hermaphrodites?

K i'll say it with you..
Hacks 9 premierships, tiges 10....sorry not talking about a period of time anymore, just overall

Alright so we have left the topic then. I have seen more hawk premierships than you have seen bitchmond premierships..overall

Very good you have more premierships that us since you entered the comp. Here are a few more stats you may like:

Spoons
Hawthorn 11
Richmond 5 (since Hawthorn joined)

Final Series
Hawthorn 26
Richmond 29 (since Hawthorn joined)

Grand Final Appearances
Hawthorn 14
Richmond 18 (since Hawthorn joined)

Head to Head Games
Hawthorn 63 wins
Richmond 81 wins

Overall Record Since Hawthorn joined
Richmond 1714 games 892 wins 806 losses 52% winning record
Hawthorn 1710 games 790 wins 911 losses 46% winning record.

All this despite Richmond being one of the worse performing teams in the last 25 years.

Next time if you're going to make a thread titled Richmond vs Hawthorn - All The Stats, you might want to focus on more than one stat.

RT - destroying Hawthorn trolls since 2006 :thumbsu:

The stats show that Richmond > Hawthorn over the journey.

Of course they're not much chop right now, or indeed for the last quarter of a century...

This sums up my angle perfectly,

Overall stats show Richmond ahead in many areas.

Yet, Richmond supporters are gearing up to watch their wooden spoon favoured side, whilst we watch our young, promising, finals-playing side on the verge of brilliance.

Doris, of the two, stats included, which team would you prefer to be a part of?

Crap, Richmond start established Hawthorn a 1st year club when we started. Dream on Tuckshop Arms. So whats Geelongs excuse, we just wanted to play with our mates

The difference in talent levels between any 2 AFL sides is not that great.

After 2006, not many gave Geelong a chance of putting it all together to have such a successful season. We came from 10th, to dominating the competition.

I don't put a whole lot of stock in odds, or even general consensus' on BF. Anything can happen.

One of the best experiences of footy I've had was going to some pub across the road from the MCG, tigers jumpers everywhere, then going to see the Cats get done. A massive MCG crowd singing yellow and black after a win was just awesome.

I haven't really answered your question, because I'm not sure of the answer.

People seem to forget that when a team begins it does take a while for that team to gain winning form and play in finals. As you can see when Hawthorn fired in the 70's and 80's we shot ahead of the rest. We have had a little down period and are now rising again. This can not be said for Richmond. They have had their down time and are yet to rise and probably won't for a while longer. Poor recruiting and choice of coach have certainly ruined any chance Richmond have of playing finals before 2010.

You mean the coach your club courted?

No doubt Clarkson made the tougher list management decisions early on. As a result we're probably two years or so behind Hawthorn in development. Who does better in the long run remains to be seen.

Richmond are behind?

But didn't Wallace say that he took the Richmond job because their list was 'well ahead of Hawthorn's'?
