Yes, i know there has been many threads about the topic, but i thought i must point this out to everyone on here.

I encourage everyone to do this:

Have a look at the incident when michael and scott bump riewoldt and look at the bottom right hand corner of the screen, you will see the trainers waterbottle, he was indeed walking off the field with a trainer.

riewoldt, scott, michael and most of the viewers have acknowledged that he was not going off the ground. get over it.

Footage shows two things -

1. St Nick was running towards camera not towards bench which is on the other side of the field and
2. Ball never got Eddie's 100 metres away , ball thrown in 10-15 metres from where St Nick hit the ground .

Seems you Saints fans won't even believe your own .

LET IT GO ....... THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR.

The absence of a denial of what jazza100 was referring to, indicates that you finally accept that there was a trainer in the vicinity.
It does make this already disgusting act even more repulsive.
The next worse step that they could possibly take is to attack the man on a stretcher.

"trainer in camera shot" (not vicinity, impossible to tell from that little bottle) isnt the same as 'under the care of a trainer'

watch that very same video at the 1.25 mark. camera pans out. if he was indeed accompanied by some trainer, where the hell are they, and why are they so far away from him right now such they are out of camera shot?

get a grip fellas.

Let it go sainters and just toughen up.
The next time your Captain is under attack maybe you can marshall more than one player(Hamil) to his assistance.
In fact if you learn from this incidence , to toughen up as a team, you may indeed even be a chance at a flag some day, who knows perhapes even this year?
But the more you go on about this dead incident, the more the chance that you will not come back from it.

I was at the ground, so had the ultimate wide angle! Was watching him closely as I saw the hit charman laid on him. He was moving back into position, there is no doubt, moving towards the goal to my right, trainer was heading back towards me (on the halfway). IIRC the Charman incident occured at about the edge of the centre square, or just inside and Nick was inside the 50. Whatever else you think about the incident he was definitely not in the hands of the trainers or heading back to the bench.

And people call us Briswhine??!!??

The Sainters (supporters) are fast becoming known as the Sookers.

Your coach has said he wasn't in the hands of the trainers
Your captain has said he wasn't in the hands of the trainers
The footage shows the corner of a waterbottle. Going by that footage the bottle could have belonged to a different trainer or even an opposition trainer for all we know. It is in no way definitive.

Let it go and save yourselves and the rest of us from being put through this pathetic display of childish whinging trying to prove something that isn't there.

We were at the ground as well, in the northern in the centre. The diving mark was on our side of the ground to the left of us.The bench is on the opposite side of the ground.

We thought he had a pinched a nerve or something. He got up, walked from sideline to middle of ground at 50metre area.Traiiner comes to him.He moves the arm over the head etc, tries it out, waves the trainer away, then he walks from top of circle towards his normal place. Now if that walking off the ground, I will go heave. If the other players new the extent of any injury I will go heave.

His arm was tested by the trainer, he told the trainer he was ok, his arm was tested.

No idea how any player could have known he was injured after that.He was moving his arm around with the trainer.

Get over it Saints.Toughen up mentally instead of all this weak crap.

And let's not forget what started all this too. Grant Thomas.

"we're not intimated by them"
"we want them to respect us"

This started long before the players even got to the ground to suit up let alone hit the field for the game.
GT asked for it and he got it. Unless of course he was expecting the Lions players to take high tea on the field during the game nodding and chatting amongst themselves whilst quitely clapping and lauding the talent that is St Kilda.

The fact that Reiwoldt has decided to say there was nothing in it shows the character of the man, to all those calling him a sook if he wanted to he could bury the hopoates from the bad news bears with one press conference, the denial is pointless as I have stipulated the whole time on this subject there was a trainer running behind and to the left of reiwoldt at the time the first coward hit, you can clearly see him form behind as Reiwoldt runs toward the boundary --- not the square

You filthy lions supporters make it up as you go along to try and justify it to yourselves, going on about how it was within the rules when you dont even know the rules- what was this about a boundary throw in???? Milne had just kicked a goal you tool oh thats right play automatically restarts after every goal with a boundary throw in at the scen of the latest injury

No, no, no, no and NO. The game was continuing AS Riewoldt got bumped, he would have contested the next delivery into the 50 had he NOT been bumped (this is backed up by the LACK of St Kilda EVER using a different option). He gets hit, then about 3 or 4 secs later, the ball is delivered to Milne, who in turn kicks the goal.

Fine I watched that clip again three times and you know what it ends paused on a center bounce who's wrong?

Geeez, i thought the teams that lost Grand Finals went on!!

You guys lost a captain and wont let it go. JUST GIVE IT UP
YOUR DRIVING THE FOOTY WORLD MAD. AAAARRRGGGHHHHHHHH

Actually I really don't give a rats arse we havvve to beat freo this week who looked good against port.

As far as the game against the lions goes now there will be a video review, followed by a possible tribunal hearing for a few players. that will be the end of the event, I am prepared to just let it rest and let the governing body do its job, if they see what Micheal and scott did as within the rules and let them off i'm ok with that, and will start coaching my junior team accordingly. If they see fit to wipe this scum off the footy field for a while lets see the bleating then hey?

Just want to see the general reaction to this scenario.

Your 12 year old son is the captain of the team. He is a player of exceptional talent and wins the team B and F every year. His team is playing a team which is notorious for it's 'physical' approach and has some players who are notorious for doing anything to win. The game is close and your son is injured, he stands up holding his arm, which is later discovered to be broken. Within seconds two of the other team's 'enforcers' recognising that your son may well make the difference, run up to him and deliberately knock him on the arm.

How do you react?

Because my son is only 12 I would be filthy , but what relevance does this have to what happened on Thursday night ??

Let's not cloud the Nick incident with facts !!!

Why didn't you throw in the other furphies of them pushing aside the team runner and one holding him up while the other bloke ran in from 100 metres away to launch into him .

I hear there's some excellent talent coming out in this years draft Saints fans why don't you run dead again and chase another priority pick.
