Wayne Carey’s been caught with coke for the millionth time and stood down by a Network that was happy to employ him when he was a cop and woman basher, but couldn’t abide getting embarrassed at a casino.

That whole fiasco is far more villainous and says a lot more about the footy industry than Rioli moving for a bigger deal.

To the non WCE community, Rioli will be remembered as a fantastic talent who was great to watch, but made a catastrophically dumb decision in 2019 and probably didn’t do the right thing by the club that supported him. That’ll be his legacy to 90% of the footy community.
You're normally balanced Badger but Carey hasn't been caught with coke.

Thought he offered to stand down while it was being investigated.

Will be interesting to see what comes out of it.

Edit: Not sure if you read the room correctly.
The majority of oppo supporters were calling him a drug cheat.

Port's future second would be decent return for Rioli. That's surely the starting point around which the deal will be constructed.
I'd like to involve one of their ruck options, but pick 51 + Lycett is slim pickings.

In the end, we all know that Rioli is worth 420 draft points - equivalent of pick 41.

Reckon it will be this simple.

Bulldogs receive: 8
Bulldogs lose: Dunkley

Eagles receive: 27
Eagles lose: Rioli

Port receive: Rioli, Dunkley
Port lose: 8, 27 (Amon)

And seeing as the Dunkley for 8 part is totally irrelevant to us ;) it's essentially just Rioli for the Amon compo....

Will be that or their future 2nd rounder imo

Would prefer their future 2nd than this years.
With so many academy and f/s picks due next year, I can see draft points in 2023 holding a lot of value.

Um. Why do we all know Rioli is worth 420 draft points?:rolleyes:

Pretty sure right up until the end of the season the media, commentators always referred to him as Willie Rioli.
Now he wants out it is all Junior Rioli.
I know his nickname is Junior but that is not how he was referred to for the past 4 or 5 years.

Did something happen? Did he say right stop calling me Willie and call me Junior?
Just call him Billy Rioli - pot smoking dog that he is.

He offered to give packet to security.
And if you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you.

Show me a link please.

C'mon Tugg. I'm not playing your little game. I also don't give a shit about Duck getting on a bit of toot. Its rife in media circles and quite frankly if he chooses to indulge when on a work trip away from family then good on him.

But that was absolutely coke or some other illicit substance in that little baggie. He's been around long enough to know how it would look keeping any non-illicit substance in a little bag like that. He wouldn't subject himself to the scenario that someone unwittingly found his little bag of anti-inflam and presumed it was something else. Much easier to just keep your prescription meds in their pill form, in their box, in your toiletries bag, in your hotel room...

I wonder if this is why Ryan has been so putrid this year? maybe had an inkling his friend was going to bail?
Ryan was putrid because he was fat and unfit . He then got covid and it took until the last month to build enough fitness too play his role .

I'm not saying it isn't extremely suss.

But he still hasn't been caught with coke.
It's an allegation.
