If Judd is right to go then play him in the AFL not VFL? A player of his talent doesn't need to run around in the 2's:confused:

He automatically makes the oppostion aware of his presence & if he is left untag he will do damage, if he does get tagged then frees up Gibbs or Murphy, win/win.
NO NO NO NO NO... too many times we have brought guys straight back into the side after they have recovered from an injury... only for them to re-injure themselves. Give him 3/4 of a game or two for the Bullants so that he can get back up to speed without the pressure.

If we brought him straight back in and he did another hammy, would you be happy or would you be screaming out to sack the medical staff for letting him come back too early.

Somehow! :straining:

I think we should stick Walk's up forward to mess up Geelong's back line....
I would like to see them try and cope with 1AW and Menz running amok in the forward line.

Come on he towelled a fully fit Murphy, no excuses. Anyway, most feel he's perhaps a bit slow. He is fighting for Bews and Smedts for that 21st/22nd spot. Once Bundy and Caddy come back in though it's not looking great.

Murphy only attended 1 out of three training sessions and had a miserable preseason coming into the 2013 season. Murphy even shook him off in the 2nd half when Hunt disappeared after half time.

Walker,Menz and Garlett in the same forward line could trouble Geelong since they have a bloody tall back line. None of their defenders are particular athletic as well except for Blicavs.

B: Rivers, Lonergan, Mackie
F: Menzel, Casboult, Yarran
HB: Enright, Taylor, Blicavs
HF: Garlett, Henderson, Waite
C: Horlin-Smith, Selwood, Duncan
C: Robinson, Carrazzo, Thomas
HF: Johnson, McIntosh, Stringer
HB: Walker, Rowe, Docherty
F: Murdoch, Hawkins, Bartel
B: Tuohy, Jamison, Simpson
R: Simpson, Kelly, Guthrie
R: Warnock, Gibbs, Murphy

IC: Bews, Motlop, Smedts, Stokes
IC: Mclean, Armfield, White, Everitt

Even if Walker plays, we don't have a good match up for Johnson.

Smedts will probably play like he did last year. IIRC, Smedts kicked two on Gibbs after Davies was substituted out with an injury. Davies had kept him quiet in his last game. :drunk:

Is this the first time Judd has played reserves since his first game as an AFL player for the East Perth Royals?

Is Buckley injured or just dropped on form?

Everitt to Johnson could work....

Rivers could be struggling to find a match up suitable, tends to struggle on anyway at AFL standard.....

Well they only have 1 small defender out down there unless Mackie plays on a small.

Menz, Yarran and Garlett in the same forward line could work as well. I'd like to see Walker given a go with his ability to mark overhead.

Um shhhh. I'm trying to boost Hunt's trade value. Oh and that Mitch Brown kid can play!

I suspect that he is being given a rest after being knocked from pillar to post the last couple of games. The boy goes in hard and doesnt know when to back off. I suspect that he should be back for the Dawks game.

Mackie could play on a small but didn't I read somewhere he may be in doubt with an injury the other day ??

Actually he's not as shit as first appearances might suggest. He's pretty solid. But yeah we tend to struggle big time against decent small forwards.

I think so to JK , and rough him up a bit
Well it is almost compulsory that we try to get inside his head after his suspension isn't it, the big stage of Friday night footy and a ruthless approach from whoever goes to him will be a good test of Stevie's patience, concentration and discipline.
