Well we most likely won't win this one guys. No ruck, Judd, Simpson, Walker and Henderson. Oh and to top it off, Murphy's only playing his second game back from injury.

The season from hell continues...

Murph named captain for next month... Carazzo bit stiff..but like the appointment.

It paid off for me in the Port, Saints and Adelaide games....odds were all too good to be true at the time and I didn't think we would win those game (Well, the Port one I thought we would get up but I thoguht the sides were alot closer than the odds suggested).

Gotta bet with the head, not the heart. It's win win for me though, if Carlton lose, I win money, and if Carlton win, well then I'm happy :p

I wish I could be more pragmatic, I can't even tip against us.:(

Haven't gone close to winning a tipping competition since '95.

This is the game where Gibbs, Garlett have to pull their fingers out... If Jamo, Watson and Bower can contain the WB forwards and we maybe roll the dice and play an extra mid to help with sharking the ruck (maybe Garlett?) then we have a chance... our midfield with Murphy, Gibbs, McClean, Carazzo, Robinson, Curnow, Armfield is not terrible...

Murphy was pretty decent first game back and I expect more from him this week..
Carazzo gun!
Robinson will go ballistic
Curnow and McClean very serviceable.

We also have Russell, Duigan, Scotland who can go into the midfield at times and would love to see Betts, Yarran and Garlett at times thrust in the midfield.

Although Thornton knows this is his last year by all means this could also be his last AFL game and I think he'd rev himself up for any AFL game he plays from here on in to give it his all.

Our team is not awful... this game rests on how many goals the Murphys, Robinsons, Armfields etc can kick when they stream forward.

how in the hell do people think the dogs will win? and that is saying something because I dislike Carlton. (no red please)

we struggle to kick over 6 goals and Carlton has won something like 10 of the past 12 against us. Mortgage the house on Carlton to win by 50+.

No ruck is not necessarily a disaster, if Casboult can crash into the other bloke and force him to reach over him we should be able to set up and rove pretty well off the other ruckman. Going to be a massive job for Casboult and I recon someone, probably Watson, will have to relieve him a lot more than he had to relieve Kreuzer.

Don't hold your breath on that happening, it hasn't happened for our entire poor patch starting round 4 apart from a few patches here and there.

Gibbs will be MIA mark my words especially if the Dogs come at us hard and Garlett will fumble, drop easy marks and smile when he misses shots at goal.

You don't know that Tanks.

Gibbs hasn't been great but he hasn't been poor either.
Whatever is affecting Garlett will turn soon enough.
Ratten made the point today (?) that Garlett was top ten in the league for goal assists in the past month or so (something like that)
I'll back him for coming good.

No one is happy with Jeffy's form but we have talked about the smile however you don't listen too well or let things go so answer this one Knife man:
Are you saying that Jeffy was happy when he missed that shot on goal?
Keep it short YES or NO (you now have to think about how stupid your suggestion is )

How long doctor?

Not sure of severity. Its a tricky injury that sometimes lingers around. Hopefully it's precautionary and misses just this one.

Keep an eye on the northern blues to see if the other emergencies play, there possibly could be one other withdrawal if not all goes well.
