Bloody annoying as Judd was starting to look the goods.

i traded Mcdonald to Judd just last week, so with only 3 trades left i need to trade him out

current midfield is Ablett, pendlebury, Selwood, Thompson, Kennedy, Judd.

i have 93k left so not sure who to get out of

Murphy (worried his scores me be effected with judd out and only just coming back from injury)
Priddis (will leave me with 37k left over)
Watson (will leave me with only 6k left)

I still have Giles as my 2nd ruck, but there isnt really anyone worth upgrading to with what i can afford.

Pleased I held on to Waters now it looks like maybe he'll be back R18, but I obviously got it badly wrong in the ruck, so I'm thinking about trading Horsley for Baguley, selling Smedts, and moving Sellar to the DEF bench, which gives me 598k to buy a ruckman. Question is, which one? Or should I forget about my weak ruck and tweak the forward line (Cloke, Poroplyzia)?

Your rucks are obviously your weakest position and would be leaking points week in and week out. I recently upgraded my rucks and went with Sam Jacobs. Only because he has been in ripping form and has a nice draw during finals (plays Freo at AAMI, Brisbane, Melbourne and GC). He is probably the standout. Apart from that I would prob look at getting pav back in your forward line but that can wait.

So the obvious problem is that you need to trade 2 people and only have 3 trades. If you are prepared to use two trades you need to make roughly 45k on the judd trade which unfortunately leaves you with Lewis (close call on the money), Scotland, Murphy and Goodes. Thats if you dont already have these players. Personally, I hate trading a player out and trading him back in. I already had to with Goodes and its killing me inside. However, Murphy is averaging 105 and is only 466k. That would leave you with roughly 521k to get a ruck. Which would give you the option of Goldstein or Griffin. Griffin scores might drop when/if Sandi comes back. Same for Goldy when Hamish is back.

The other option is to move a Mid/Fwd to your mid and switch Judd for a FWD.

If all those options look like poor choices then I would go Watson and not worry about your cash and save the trades for LTI's.

All those trades look good. Only dilemma is whether to get mummy or McEvoy. McEvoy is obviously the stronger option but you save 100k if you go mummy. McEvoy (plays Melbourne, Geelong, GWS and Carlton) is gonna get you more points but with the 100k you save from get mummy maybe you can get a better midfielder like JPK or Boyd or maybe Watson (BE: 162) or Swan (BE: 164) granted they dont get their break evens.

Having said all that I would probably go McEvoy but just some food for thought...

Nice Team. Considering you still have 8 trades your in a pretty good position.

I like the Giles to Jacobs trade. I did it last week and was very pleased. He has an easy draw for finals too. A lot of people are saying he might get rested but I think that is a coin flip. Adams is still doin quite well and I decided to keep him for cover.... just my suggestion but Giles is costing a lot of points each week.

WOW. No offence but your backline is BIN.

Your trade idea looks OK but if you wanted to upgrade 2 this week maybe you should consider Geary to Yarran instead of Heppell. That will save you 50k and he has averaged 97.7 over his last 3 games. And instead of Broughton to Carrazzo go for someone like Adcock. That will leave you with 30k total for next week.

Then once lonergan goes up you can downgrade McDonald to Couch/Baguley and use that money to upgrade Lonergan to someone good like Carrazzo/Birchall/Scotland.

Leaving your team after two weeks to look like this.

Was trading Judd for Pendles this week, reversed it and went Smith to Couch which was going to be next weeks trade anyway.

Here's my team. With only 4 trades left, and only 3.6k left, I need to get it right.
I obviously need to beef up my back line, and possibly get someone in for Giles but
what would you all suggest?

I was thinking, should I bring in Couch for Dickson (+255.2k)
and trade Ryan Hargrave for Heath Shaw (-168.7k)

Leaving me with 90.1k

I'd also be looking at bringing in Marc Murphy...

What would you all suggest?
