Things can turn around pretty quickly. We might have to take a slight step backwards with a new coach (and head of football), but at least then we could continue in the right direction.

Wondering if people will do the same thing they have done with Teague. Promoting we were on the right direction to now backtracking to the other extreme

In to our 6th lockdown in Victoria and I think I have them sorted:

1. Figures come out with community contamination
2. Whispers about lockdown
3. Straight to Uncle Dan's - beer, wine (happy wife), spirits (happy daughters)
4. Next stop is the local butchers - top grade bacon, homemade pies, boned lamb for the spit, burgers, snags
5. Next stop is the local grocery store - meat pies, hot dogs, buns/breads, souvlaki ingredients, snacks, eggs
6. Home - lay out mix & match track suit pants & hoodies
7. Turn off any type of alarm
8. Pack away razor, hair products
9. Lock front door
10. Turn on Channel 504 on Foxtel
11. Study up each AFL match re $2.00 multi's
12. Let the 7 day bender begin

Rinse...repeat

Oh...re the game. Hoping for a win...any type of win.

BUT (I realize this is a hypothetical not based in precedent or reality)... if we were to have a convincing win over Suns, a miraculous win over the Power, and then a tough grind out win over GWS... it's going to be a very different atmosphere at HQ. Makes me wonder if that could save Teagues ass.

again... a much more likely scenario is that we either lose or stumble over the line against Suns, get blown out by the Power, and then a healthy beat down by the Giants (because we ALWAYS suck in the last round of the year)

Hopefully Gov gets in next week. I know people have mixed feelings about him on here but if he’s fit he’ll add some real X factor into the forward line. Port and GWS would have some real worries if Harry, Charlie and Gov are up and about with Honey and Eddie lurking at their feet

It would be nice to see all 3 in the one forward line. Even better to see it for 22 weeks+ one year

It adds to how much of an achievement Harry's coleman effort is. One out all season with zero support often taking the two best defenders collectively in contests. When defenses are spread covering Charlie and McG, Harry's day gets all the easier. Even these last few games with Charlie plodding around getting his touch and match legs back means they can't leave him unattended as he will still hurt them. See that goal from outside 50 last week. Here's hoping McG gets up as well.
