Yze bangs on about how many kids we are playing but I want to know how many are actually good? Brown is the only one I’m remotely confident in. Gibcus is the only other who has A grade potential but looks the type of player that will break down every time he touches grass.
The senior players struggle to perform at the moment, how are the kids supposed to stand out?

This is something that changes as the team changes. You look at a bottoms team list and see nothing, but suddenly they start turning it around and guys start popping up everywhere looking like future stars even though the list is mostly unchanged.

A team needs to be performing well for a player to actually show off their skills and gain that confidence. There was a reason why any kid that came in to our team used to look good straight away in 17-20. They slot into a good team, get a specific role, get played to their strengths and can rely on everyone around them to do what they would expect them to do.

15th then
yous are all gonna have eggs on your face when we play finals next year

players are already having secret liasons with the new fitness manager

rioli will be 28 next year

he is severely overrated

he is contracted

gold campaigners would have to pay through the nose for him

ill be disappointed if we keep him

could really supercharge our rebuild
Couldn't agree more ...my fear is that Yze wants to keep everyone ..gotta make some hard decisions on trades and retirements
Trade Rioli...Baker...Short ..and Graham if he wants to go ..
Finish up Broad...Prestia. ( maybe) ..Grimes .. McIntosh..Dusty...
We've got 3 drafts to rebuild before the inbreds come in

Yze's first act at the club was to remove the premiership memorabilia, his second will be to hang up the wooden spoon
If someone said to me we would win the premierships 2017/19 and 20 then 4 years later we would finish last, I would take it every day of the week.

Plus we've barely had a top 10 pick to grab the cream and the one we did have has a knee injury 😒

We all would but it’s still painful and it’s about how we’re going to get out of the shit now.

First stage is accepting we are in the shit. Interesting off-season coming up.

Probably damaged goods now, missed 2 years of football. What a waste.
yeah all cos the club was tight arse with a burge replacement , this has been the biggest farrk up in decades by the club

The most encouraging thing was we hung in there and didn’t get smacked by 90p plus which it looked like being in q1 , still we did t really ever look threatening until 4q when coll well and truly put cue in the rack

What’s up with Balta , has been terrible last fortnight , I hope he sees a future with us
Broad at least showed he has a bit ,eft in the tank with a good game
Of the youngsters , nipper was promising , brown too was promising in f50 and def worth persevering with banks I liked
Ultimately same old same old , static f50 that rarely moves and expects incoming to be just lobbed in
All in all a pretty lame performance and I don’t hold much hope of a win next week

Me too, but it’s wearing thin now.

I foreshadowed that results wouldn’t change much when the experienced players returned , we re competitive in patches without ever look like winning , we really need to go hard in securing 4 pics inside top 20 . There are opportunities to do that ,,, make sure it happens

Can’t wait for this season to be over

We’ll still be shit next year but at least we will have some kids running around to give us hope.

Broad and Vlaustin fantastic today. Samson bad. Very bad. Don’t care if he’s beaten in the ruck. Can’t stand seeing him give no second efforts after contesting the ball in air. Painful to watch.

I felt Ryan was one of our few positives on a dirty day. 14 touches (3 more than previous best), 6 marks (equal career high), 5 clearances (equal career high and only the second time he has got more than 2). Also 5 score involvements and 4 tackles (he’s never had more than 2 tackles in a game before).

We need to remember this kid is a ruckman, not a forward. His performance today showed promise IMO.

It’s been 1 season of dogshit old man
Time to be patient for a few

Rome wasn’t built in a day
5 years since our last premiership and a plethora of co*k ups by the club in that time

we should be rebuilded by now

The injuries have made sure we are dead last sure as I think the Eagles are worse. We should have won more than 2 games.

Lynch is the big one and he's 32yo with the body of a 62yo. We can't really keep claiming him as an injury excuse he's just about cooked, same as Dusty, same as Dion.

Broad, Flossy & Nank over 30 and 3 of our better players too.

Baker probably leaves at this point.

So fully fit who is worse? Eagles, North but they're primed to fly past us. Maybe Saints or Crows. Saints have a similar plodding midfield, Crows have similar reliance on an ancient forward albeit they have Thilthorpe coming through and we have Kozi lol. Crows coach I reckon is shite and he plays too many midfield plodders.

I'd say 2025 will see Eagles, Richmond and St Kilda bottom 4. The 4th is more difficult, maybe Essendon or Adelaide (if Nicks is coach playing Crouch and Laird in the middle together 😂😂)

Crows have young talent on their list (Rachele/Fogarty/Rankine/Soligo/Thilthorpe. They can go either way and are ahead of us but their rebuild started much before ours.

Also Kozi has been one of the only players who is actually marking the footy right now. He’s been far better than most would like to highlight.
