Lynch is the big one and he's 32yo with the body of a 62yo. We can't really keep claiming him as an injury excuse he's just about cooked, same as Dusty, same as Dion.

Broad, Flossy & Nank over 30 and 3 of our better players too.

Baker probably leaves at this point.

So fully fit who is worse? Eagles, North but they're primed to fly past us. Maybe Saints or Crows. Saints have a similar plodding midfield, Crows have similar reliance on an ancient forward albeit they have Thilthorpe coming through and we have Kozi lol. Crows coach I reckon is shite and he plays too many midfield plodders.

I'd say 2025 will see Eagles, Richmond and St Kilda bottom 4. The 4th is more difficult, maybe Essendon or Adelaide (if Nicks is coach playing Crouch and Laird in the middle together )

I agree it hard to get back up, that’s why I don’t understand the angst. It’s really bloody hard to win one premiership, ask the cats, wce, dogs and even swans who keep falling just short, let alone win 3.

Reality is we need to hit the next 2 drafts hard, we desperately need A grade talent, not surprising given we’ve had 1 top 10 pick since 2012.

The worst thing we could do is get stuck in the middle ala the saints and Essendon for next 2-3 years.
