Samson Ryan is a potato that we signed for 3 years. It’s not that the ball isn’t landing in his hands, he just drops it every time. How can a big bloke whose main craft should be taking a mark literally not clunk anything.

Pies were there for the taking today but we really are a terrible football club at the minute. Bucks barely gave them any credit and basically said have a look at the opposition when asked which says a lot.

Yze bangs on about how many kids we are playing but I want to know how many are actually good? Brown is the only one I’m remotely confident in. Gibcus is the only other who has A grade potential but looks the type of player that will break down every time he touches grass.

Also can someone tell me the status of Tom Lynch? Wasn’t it going to a 2 week hammy?

One thing that really stood out today was just how much our players have checked out. Single efforts defensively, no accountability for their opponents, players looking out for themselves by stat padding, no sacrificing for the betterment of the team and the only time they seem to celebrate anything is when a player kicks their first goal.

The next 4 weeks are going to be a grind and you can see that the team is devoid of any sort of confidence. If North get a jump on us early next week we'll fold like a house of cards. There isn't much more that Yze can do this year to turn things around, what we need to do is get answers from those undecided senior players about their intentions for next year, either they're staying or they're going, because right now no solid plans can be made about the direction we're heading in 2025 and it is also having a big impact on the list with so much uncertainty about players futures.

The point is we traded two years worth of draft picks and all we have to show for it is the worst midfield in the league. Frankly could have still had the worst midfield in the league without bringing in Taranto and Hopper, it's a pretty low bar, but at least we'd have some exciting first round youngsters like Brown to look forward to. And we can only blame injury so far, only Ross is missing from it at the moment and he is no world beater. So if that is the proposition, we'd still be crap with them, bottom of the ladder crap, but we'd be even more crap without them, that's not much of a sales pitch in retrospect. The Taranto and Hopper trades are ageing worse by the week.

Kozzie presented well today and Ryan actually got better as the game wore on. McAullife is still a pre season away from having a big impact. Prestia had 20 touches and a goal, far from our worst. Hopper had 20 as well with 3 tackles.

look mate hopper and prestia are not up to it. they transition poorly. prestia is past it now. he stuffed up an easy kick in the first second of play by giving a silly loopy handball. he needs to go. Hooper is on a 7 year deal at big money, hes a b grader, hes slow and is a poor kick what is his value???

I thought Ryan did Ok. Broad and Kmac had good games. Dow sparked it up when he came on and replaced Taranto who maybe started injured and if so then that may have cost us any chance.
And Bolton had a go.

What else is he going to say? He's probably questioning himself right now and whether he is completely out of his depth at this level and up until this point the results are horrendous whichever way you cut it. I'd imagine he is having a lot of restless nights right now. History will not remember injuries and the subsequent excuses but only the W/L ratio and deep down he would be aware of that.

The honest question is how many of us see Adem up on a podium with a trophy or will be the guy who builds the list for the next one?
