I think throw Gibcus forward and bring in Miller to replace him as that third tall defender.

Not sure we need a Miller even if Gibcus plays forward. Grimes -> Buddy, Tarrant -> Logan McDonald. Broad/Vlastuin can handle resting Hickey/Ladhams.

50 metres,another new rule added to the Richmond rule book.The umpires are actively looking to pay free kicks against Richmond and our forwards nearly have to be molested to get a hint of a free kick.
The players cannot show dissent because heaven knows even a hint of it from a Richmond player and its 50 metres
So if this does not change I suggest the Richmond players show legal dissent, when there is a stoppage and our players are in possession of the ball
do not hand the ball back to the umpire just place it on the ground walk away and let them pick it up.
That's true. Neither Hickey or Ladhams has been used forward much for the Swans. Perhaps it opens a spot back up for Hugo?

I was grabbing a beer and could hear the roars from the crowd. I was totally confused because the half time "entertainment" was still going, but it sounded like the game was back on. Hilarious.
I find it really really weird that they no longer keep stats on 50's given away & received.
I mean, they made a rule to make them a bigger part of the game, then removed it from being able to easily see the results.
For about 30 years it was tracked, but now in the generation of analytics, its no longer available. Odd
Bad management is not replacing him. At all.
As ive said before Levi Casboult was right there. Sure you do not have to pay him $400k or whatever the number was (we actually could have gotten him for around $150-200k a year earlier & he was keen) - but to not replace him at all and leave a gaping hole in the list was also pretty bad list management.

We still have plenty of talls on the list and only unfortunate because Balta and Lynch are injured at the same time

Liam Baker has polled playing a very similar role nearly every game he has played back there so far.
No way you pay Dan $600k. where did that number come from? It's surely very incorrect
Dan is stil, by far - the least vote getting back in a similar role. We all might not agree & i will say you all have some good points to make on his positives - but there is also a lot of decent proof that he is playing a one sided game so far & i might have a point or 2 as well, heh?

I agree with this - SCG is small and it will be a damp slippery night - lots of close in contests and sloppy balls kicked forward.
Not a good match for a big marking player like Tim Lunch, Jack much more suited IMO.
Bring in Cumberland & Stack I reckon and get a ground ball frenzy going on....
I was happy to take a punt on Casboult and Brander, we just needed the depth.
Brander has not been much chop but Levi has been a revelation for the Suns. Brander might have been better with us, who knows.
I wasn;t wanting to invest anything of value into the role, just depth for depths sake - even on the rookie list etc
