6 games in and you think that is a break out season. To even be recognized in the 40 you need multiple good years and usually get picked a year when you played worse than the year you missed.

Probably because Freo have beaten up on easy beats with the softest draw in the AFL, Mundy completely disappeared when Fyfe was gone, and the AFL coaches award is a joke because if your coach loves you, you tend to get a ton of votes you probably didn't deserve.

For instance, Bulldogs players always get a ton of votes because win, lose or draw Beveridge throws votes towards his players.

4th for pressure acts
6th for contested possessions
8th for tackles
1st for score launches from midfielders (8th, but the 7 ahead are all rucks)

With Dunkley out for most of the season, there's a reasonable chance his stocks rise from here. I'd have him ahead of Bont right now

Bontempelli can do nothing for the rest of the year and still get picked just cause dogs are elite and he's their best player. Libba is criminally underrated as a result of being behind those stars.

You're wrong. He's been even better but he's just playing a more defensive role. Without him we'd be losing by some big margins.

3 is more than zero. As soon as we lose a game the hype around us will die out and players like Langdon, Kossie and Salem will be irrelevant, and probably Oliver too.

Amon has been very good for several years.

He has gone to another level this year.

He is the best wingman on the game at the moment. He would be vying with Aliir for first picked from a Port perspective at the moment.
