It’s oddly amusing that Bevo copped an absolute caning on here for moving Lobb back instead of Naughton against GWS last year, yet now they are both playing great footy in the backline and forward line respectively.

It’ll be interesting what will happen when all of our tall defensive options are fit. Jones is obviously in, and there might only be two spots for JOD, Lobb, Coffield, Buku, Keath and Gardy.

I suspect Lobb, Jones and JOD would be the winners but Buku and Coffield have been pretty solid (Buku in particular tonight).

Lobb's form in defence has been a revelation.

It has turned what looked like our fatal weakness in our quest for a flag into a likely strength, especially when Jones returns.

It could turn out to be THE decisive change to the side this season.
