If that's the opening offer, I have a hard time seeing how this gets done. It's in that same spot as before where Lobb is on a bloated contract, that means nothing to us given we have a stupid amount of capspace and he's more important to us then anyone else given we have 3 KPFs on the list.

Just reporting the news my friend.

so why does he want out?
He will be in less with us. Does Freo want a reset? Again?
Yeah I know, seemed a logical place to jump in.

less dollars but longer term, so more overall.
1. is, his GF and Melbourne based job.
2. is, his commitment was questioned (allegedly) in his exit interview, and didn't go down too well.

Def not looking for another reset, which is why we'd be reluctant to let him move without a decent replacement available. We have nothing else forward.

Would not be surprised if this is revisited next year.

Your post was a troll post about Lobb leaving Fremantle. Let's not disguise it as anything else. It's insulting.

Nah, it really wasn't, regardless of how insulted you feel.

So what do Freo fans want for him?
You are going to get nothing but requests for serious overs that you'll laugh at.

The absolute minimum that I can MAYBE see us taking is F2 and 19 into 13

Is it just to me or does Lobb moving back to GWS make less sense than him just staying with the Dockers? The Dockers are severely lacking talls, while GWS have Flynn, Briggs, and Preuss.

His best spot was on a wing and he suits our game style of saving matches in the last qtr. He just floats back takes contested mark after contested mark in defence.

Sounds like a fair offer - just how much of his salary are Dockers taking for a player that clearly wants out.

Maybe we could do 8 & Lobb for 13 hehehe (joke) - I just cant see why we need to offer more than the Future 2nd.

I'm sure we have some wriggle room but again comes back to how much are Dockers paying.

We just give him extra years. Say it's 1.5 mil owing for the next 2 we can make it a 4 year deal for 2 mil.

Future second for a best 22 regular with 2 years left on a contract, the offer has to be good.

What do you reckon that would look like? Flynn number one ruck with Lobb playing a similar role to Blicavs at the Cats when he plays on a wing?

It was Lobb, 14, 43 & 47
for 11 & 19.
And you then turned 43, 47 & 55 into 31.

It was essentially a 3 pick downgrade and early 2nd downgraded to a late second.
You can stretch things but I don’t think anyone outside maybe GWS supporters thought it was unders at the time and given his output and wanting to head back, it’s proven to be overs.

It was certainly not ‘nothing but capspace’
