Wouldn’t even know it’s his 250th if this board was your source of news, seems to be a complete lack of respect on here for a club great reaching 250 games. He’s my all time favourite Crow and I can’t wait to be there to celebrate his 250th this weekend, congrats Sloaney 👏

I think a lot of the peoples view on here comes from his inconsistency this season. It probably comes from unacknowledged (by sloane and the club) fatigue and he probably should have been rested one or two matches. For example the Roos and Eagles games were massive selection mistakes by the club. Not the thread.

Congrats to Sloane for his service to the club. Has been a brilliant club man since he arrived and stayed despite the godfather offers along the wy from some vic clubs. Deserves every bit of the accolades coming his way.

Which games was he the difference in?
Any chance the mods could have put their biases aside and have a dedicated thread to celebrate a club legends 250th, and allow the negative crap to stay in this thread? So glad I’ve been away for 5 weeks and barely had time to read the crap on this board. Sure, the conversation about his future needs to be had as his form has been poor recently, but surely that could be put aside in a week like this?

his current form is a huge issue and if we were serious he'd be rested or in the SANFL this week. It casts a shadow over his personal milestone.

🤔 that was not suspension worthy. Late spoil on a haemophiliac Brad Ebert. Brodie Smith missed the west coast game too. Not serious?

The funny thing about that suspension is that within 2 sundays their was a full pager on Brad Ebert where he described himself as a bleeder, has skin like paper and cuts easily. That was a terrible suspension.

Yep. It's not like he smashed the guy in the head, he was going for a spoil

That 2016 loss to WC is really underrated by Crows fans. On par with the 2005 QF loss to St Kilda.

Absolutely. Cost us top 2 in a year where there was a complete vaccum.

I often think a bigger missed change than 2017, when Richmond arrived as a powerhouse.

It was a ridiculously soft suspension before ridiculously soft suspensions became the norm.

No comment on the above? This board has been at its worst this week and we only lost a game to a good team by 3 goals. Could be mistaken for thinking we lost to the Eagles by 5 goals at home.

Take your whinging to FB, this is a thread about Rory Sloane past, present and future.

I was confused by it. Anyone can start a thread

He was nowhere near the ball. He just ran up and punched a guy who had basically already completed the mark in the face from the side / behind.

Stupid s**t.
just for fun take another look. He got pretty close to the ball! If IRC Ebert got hit earlier that night which compounded it. Ports medical report contributed to the contact grading.
Load of shut tribunal anyway.
Anyway, I saw the umpiring in the Sydney/Bulldogs GF we all did. Silly to think it would’ve played out differently for us. AFL wanted that fairy tale

Rory did nothing but take us places. Silly to suggest he cost us
Next I suppose you’ll mention when he selfishly contracted appendicitis

Given no one had by mid week, did you not think it was worth starting one? Major milestone game and most of the chat has been about his form, with the odd backhanded compliment about his 250th.

Stop whining

Use your main account.

If we finish second, Bulldogs have to go through Geelong. Not sure they do.

What place did Rory take us again?

Don’t let it get to you BACCS. I said the same thing. Time away from here really is a positive thing!

You can start threads can’t you? Or is against your Crows Ambassadorship?

Seems really odd to whinge about a thread not being started when you can create it yourself.
