Bring it on!
Let our glorious future begin.
I'm so ready I'm overripe and oozing out.
Can't wait for the melts!
WC by 1 goal 1 point...

West Coast by 10 points. The eagles come from behind at 3 quarter time to win the game after Simpson throws a Gatorade bottle in the change rooms. Gatorade becomes the clubs new primary sponsor

Would be interesting to know the stats on how we go in games that start this early, from memory we don't do very well.
They’ve been doing all their match stimulation early, this preseason.
I’m normally stimulated early in the morning too, I’m sure the players will be hard, stimulated and ready to go.

I think everyone is pretty confident that Ginbey will be named in the 22, with Chesser a good chance also.
The player is that excites most is Hewett, I’d love to see his name in the starting line up.
I know it’s a big ask to debut 3 players, but they are all 1st round picks, and it’s not like we’ll be challenging for the flag this year, so why not.

I hope we win.

North are our bogey side.

Along with 14 others

Bogey? You almost beat then last year with a team that had yet to introduce themselves to each other

I reckon the loser of this game plays the loser of hawks bombers snd plays off for Harkey Reid next week

Pretty sure we debuted 3 or 4 players in Rnd 1 2018: Rioli, Ryan, Venables and Waterman.

Only just realising this now cos I just entered my tips, but why are we and Freo both playing away this week?
The AFL caught us on the hop with their last minute announcement of a 23rd game to be played this season, meaning it started a week early. Ed Sheeran concert was already booked and they need 2 weeks to get the surface ready, so can't have games in rnd 1.

So what do we make of Simpson's curious comment about NicNat the other day? "If it was Round 15 he'd play". WTF does that mean? Is he fit or isn't he?

I'm probably leaning towards playing it safe and have him missing in Round 1 but if BWilliams can't get up I think he has to play. We cannot go into a game with just Jamieson in the ruck and no viable back up.
It means he's out until Rd 14

Happy Brad Scott Week everyone!
