Round 1 2025 Fixture Predictions and what is your club's fixture wish list for the season?

I hate how they lock in games for certain rounds. Especially the round 1 games. We are meant to look forward to seeing the opening games, a bit like a surprise on who you play.
The Blues v Tigers should never have been a thing and once again looks a terrible match up.
Why has hawks v bombers been locked into round 1? These are horrible ideas.

I don’t know how the AFL can knowingly have Richmond v Carlton as the Round 1 opener on the Thursday night.

We all know it’s a more than fair chance to be a horribly one sided game where Richmond get belted due to how many senior players they’ve lost.

They Pioneered being the opening game every year, It's only fair just like the anzac match that was brilliantly thought up by sheeds and some w***er from Collingwood.

Agree, i hate how the AFL do a lot of things. locking in games etc can get boring. mix it up. The fixturing is a mess and needs to be addressed

Thursday night - Brisbane V Geelong 7:30pm/6:30pm - GABBA
Friday night - Sydney V Port Adelaide 7:40pm - SCG
Saturday - GWS V Carlton 3:20pm - Engie Stadium
Saturday night - Gold Coast V Hawthorn 7:30pm/6:30pm - People's First Stadium
Sunday - Western Bulldogs V St Kilda - 3:20pm - Marvel

And yes I know, Collingwood aren't there.
