Cumbo was in our top 10 most exciting player last year

How he is not in the 22 is completely baffling just like it took until rd 15 for him to get a game last year too

He’s caddy mk2. Can play that forward role but that’s about it. Don’t need him to kick goals, we’ve got three forwards to do that. We need psycho level pressure. Mansell the best we’ve got.

Might be unpopular but if George was on the list and fit he’d probably be playing instead of Mansell

What u mean? Cumbo may look like caddy but he’s completely different - hes fast, takes and kicks goals

Im gonna spew if we go with cotch, manselland graham in the forwardline over cumberland

Brad is a biased Richmond Hating Campaigner.

Probably stems from the era post Libba assault on Knighta back in the day.

He's as anti RFC as any in the meejia
On FoxFooty he was a judge on the rising star and admitted he did not watch Richmond games cause he hates Richmond

The corresponding game last year Carltoon's midfield rotation of four players had accumulated 121 possessions between them

Our main rotating four midfielders Martin Cotchin Graham and Prestia who we lost early in the match had a combined 59 disposals you can see why the flood gates opened up in the last with them kicking a bag to snatch the game.

Insert Taranto and Hopper with Prestia and the luxury of Martin Cotchin Graham Bolton rotating through

they are not getting that differential again tonight.

Tigers by plenty enough.

eatem em alive tigers

They will get plenty of early cheap goals from frees and 50s like they have the past few years.

It's the free kicks given away that could be a concern especially if the umps go full auto 50m penalties like they did last year in Round 1.
More concerned about our playing group being transformed into lab rats than anything else.

This is better than The Two Ronnies reading the selection melts in here.

Bloody hilarious.

Cumberland was down on form last praccy game and must be unfit obviously.

We hold alot of aces in our hand oppos will not see yet.

And premierships are not won in round 1.

I still think we can win.

With Cochin and Graham most likely our HF's is there a market for Saad and Docherty to combine for 100 possies and 3000m gained? FFS I reckon if I strapped Relton Roberts to my back I could outrun and run down Cotch and Fatboy. HTF did Mansell get picked before Judson too? Dimma must've been smoking cones watching the Roos v Tigers on Kayo. Was Clarke who laser passed to Dusty not Mansell. FFS we lost plenty of games last year at selection. Didn't think getting rid of Aarts, Castagna would clear a path for a worse player in Mansell.

What on earth is with all the Mansell hate? The kid hasn’t even been given a run in his new role and being whipped by you lot already? I recall him being quite well liked when he first started playing games as a small defender, what has changed? Gives his all for the jumper, his selection is based on his willingness to play a selfless role.

I may well be in the minority here, but I like the balance of this side. The so called 'questionable' players picked in Pickett, Graham, Short and Mansell, are in the team because of their different qualities / abilities they bring to the collective 23 man squad.
Pickett & Graham are both hard, tough as nails competitors, who don't shirk contests, lay heavy tackles and are endurance two way runners, Short is also an endurance two way runner with very good kicking skills when given time and space and when on song is regularly in the highest metres gained across the ground for the team and Mansell, give the kid a break, he is in the team to to play a specific role, which I would presume is to apply hard, physical pressure (chasing and tackling) to stop the Carlton runners off their half back line namely Saad and Docherty from setting up potential scoring chains further down the ground and or force a turnover because of applied pressure.
Rather than cast stones from glass towers, let's just see how things pan out, after all it is only Round 1 there is plenty of depth in this squad and other players pushing for spots in the 23 each week, will get opportunities as the season progresses.

nah, he had a hammy

SEN is AAAALLLLLLL about Carlton this morning. Makes me sick.

You'd think there was only one team playing tonight.

And aaaaallllll about Carltons fwd line scoring power. Last time I looked Richmond Ranked #1 for points for in 2022 and Carlton ranked over 300 points behind 8th.
I’m more comfortable with that than us. Being talked up for premiers

Good let the pressure and expectation build on them
