Freddy alone on the wing should be running and gunning, not waiting for a perfect pinpoint lead that's seemingly never going to eventuate.

spotlight's on J-Lo now, got to come up with some coaching moves to unlock them. They've flooded the corridor and got us switching sideways without any penetration. Plus we've been poor with disposal anyway, Darcy way under par and some of Fyfe's kicks quite ordinary, Treacy, Tabs and Jackson not clunking marks and just looking quite cumbersome and slow. Been a poor showing so far, but another half can see things change. That's what we're hoping for...

And we cannot stay with Treacy, Taberner Fyfe and Jackson.
We’re getting murdered on the way out and when the ball hits the ground.

Jackson looks like he is quick over the first 20m or so then slows down. You can see it in that ball he was chasing inside 50 in the 1st quarter. He had a good 10m on his opponent then got to the ball 2nd.

If we don't start winning the ball out of the stoppages then shuffling players forward won't matter, and if we do, we don't need to shuffle them at all.

We are playing one or two down at the stoppages with our mids not competitive enough and then exposed on the outside for pace.

Time for some Sandilands style taps to the feet of the rucks and scrap with blocks for a running clearance

Cripps got off for causing a similar injury, if we're going by the "damage caused to the victim" angle that the MRO likes to parrot.
They set that precedent so it probably influenced their decision here.

He didn't hit his head and the hit was only marginally high. Leaving the ground was his biggest flaw.

No, and that’s the issue when you conservatively pick a sub to just cover injury instead of selection a genuine point of difference as your sub.
Go in top heavy with cumbersome talls?
Put a speed merchant on the sub spot then surely
Go in with a heap of smalls - then for gods sake have a tall option on the bench to switch it up if things aren’t working.

Banfield is just a sub you hope you don’t need to use. Waste of a tactic.
