Too many players who show a little eg jetta cunningham jetta and do nothing most of the game
And over the hill players who have been great servants but are done
Its round 1 but i was worried pre season and am more worried now maybe im a bad fan, but this isnt a premiership contender, it will struggle to play finals

Cunningham has jetta run past him and chooses not to give and then misses his target by ohhh 20 metres. Super.
Ross Lyon in 2013 wised up to the fact that relentless pressure is the key to beating us. if the rest of the comp hadn't done the same by the 2014 grand final, they have now.

I really worry that Longmire is not a good coach. He is the one that is supposed to shape the players mindsets but so many times when the heat is on the Swans just look like they are not interested and crumble under pressure.

Was furious we forced blokes like Mumford, Everitt and others out the door to get in Franklin and Tippett when we had won a GF without a big forward. We showed our soft belly in the GF and we're going to roll over this year as well.

His slingshot gamestyle was great, and won us a flag, then immediately went out to completely reverse it and came up with some shit that I don't even know how it constitutes a game plan.

Actually unless he wins the ball in forward fifty stoppages (and then kicks the goal) he is going to be a liability. Doesn't make you a band wagoner. Makes you someone who recognises that he isn't the player he was.
Yeah Goodes hasn't been great. Might be a figment of my imagination but I seem to remember the AFL banning us from recruiting any established players. If Goodes and Shaw retired we'd have two kids that wouldn't be getting a game anyway. For all we know he was asked to stay so we didn't have to concede the year as a rebuild.

Might be a figment of my imagination but I remember us having an A-grade ruckman and some decent utilities that were bundled out the door to bring in the millionaires.

We have Pyke as our number one ruckman. That is laughably embarrassing. It only gets worse when you look at who his back up is. We wonder why we don't win the clearances?
