Hey knobhead, ever heard of paragraphs?
Kane Johnson
Brett Deledio
Nathan Foley
Shane Tuck
Dean Polo
Richard Tambling
Cam Howat
Greg Tivendale
Nathan Brown
We've got you covered for depth
Troy Simmonds, Brett Deledio, Joel Bowden, Nathan Brown
Now that's class
Nice to see you surface. The Weagles Ugly Culture crisis is entertaining us all over here in the Eastern States. It's like a never ending train-wreck. Little wonder why Judd wants to return to Victoria. The Juddless Weagles are barely a top-8 side. Looking forward to the next crisis from Weagleland.
Uh huh. I didn't really want to list EVERY player that might venture into the centre of the ground at some stage, just the ACTUAL midifielders.
The question was after Murphy and Stevens cancelling out Dledio and Johnson it comes down to the next five.
So you take this completely out of context. Then you confuse the word stopage with stopper. Easy to do but you should take more care when writing fairy tales.
Thirdly, for the last three weeks the Hawks, Roos, and Lions fans pre-games have crapped on endlessly about how much better their mids are than ours. On paper (or on computer) that may appear to be so, but ours put so much pressure on theirs that we smashed all of them in the middle.
The fact that I have been able to leave Gibbs out of this group says one thing. He's just turned 18 and hasn't played a senior game yet. Jury is out on his impact in the early rounds, but underrate this guy and you'll be sorry.
Geez I hope Brown does spend 50% of his time on ball. Ask Luke Power who Jordan Russell is.........
Can't read without them?
Premiership season is a completely different game then the NAB. Gibbs struggled in the NAB, what makes you think he'll touch it in the real stuff?
We don't need to ask Luke, who Jordan is...we all know that he is a dud Top 10 pick
Gibbs is doing nicely. Quite happy with his efforts so far, and has been a useful contributor, and setup a few important plays. But I guess you don't want to know that. Jordon Russell has been fantastic, and has really stepped up this year. Highly talented midfielder with blistering speed. Did you enjoy his goal V Lions. Again, I guess you don't want to know that. Hilarious.
You either have a very bad memory or an active imagination. Probably both.Terry's ultraflooding of the Crows defence in that game, was probably the most extreme example of that tactic ever seen. I remember the Tiges fans booing their own team over those terrible tactics.

Richmond struggled in the NAB, what makes you think they'll touch it in the real stuff?
Blues by plenty.
... FWIW i think that Gasper on Fisher is a better match up. Both not blessed with speed and at similar heights, but in the air different story, fisher will have him covered.
I don't completely agree. Fisher is pretty quick at ground level. And of course his pack-marking ability is just plain freaky.
You know you're a moron when your a Richmond supporter

Carlton rely on Fev, if Fev goes down or is held to under 5 goals...you'll struggle to kick 8 for the match.
He got 2 kicks! That is 1 more than Trent Knobel the other week!!
Considering Tambling's excellent NAB Cup form in his debut year was "still crap because it's easy to look good in the NAB" what will happen to Gibbs I wonder.
It's great watching these little Carlton supporters squirm now that they have to be hypocritical in order to support Gibbs in any way
You once bagged Tambling for being a dud cos he didn't set the world on fire right away. At least he set part of the world on fire for a few matches.... Gibbs can only get one more kick than Trent Knobel
Gibbs is all class, and was 17 for most of those games. How many 17 y.o. play senior footy and do well first up?
Tambling is a joke - don't take it out on us.

Yes, that was Wells he burnt off, and if Eddie Betts hadn't got in the way - gooooaaalll.
Brett Deledio was 17 when he started and we all know how good he went.Gibbs is all class, and was 17 for most of those games. How many 17 y.o. play senior footy and do well first up?

Marc Murphy had a better first season and is currently better than Lids. FACTBrett Deledio was 17 when he started and we all know how good he went.

Isn't it funny how in the "Can the blues win 5 in a row" thread, we are being degraded because "NAB cup form means nothing" - understandable from Tiges fans given their teams performance............yet, apparently the form of Bryce Gibbs does count?
So which is it?
Form does count
Gibbs has shown patches of brilliance but hasn't really got into a game and the Blues are on the way
OR
Form doesn't count
Gibbs hasn't really played a game so his form can't be judged and the Blues haven't done anything yet
Why don't you choose instead of having a bit each way.
I'll take selection a thanks.
Those second year blues are are bummer aren't they?
Individual form such as Lloyd kicking bags of goals does count, because individual form is purely how good you play and how well you can cope with the pace of the game etc. If Trent Knobel can't get a kick in a NAB game why would he do any better in a tougher game?
Team form means little such as Richmond and West Coast both winning 1 of 4 pre season games, so the actual outcome of matches are not an indicator of future success. The actual form of certain players is what you take out of these games, not the final score.
Thanks for further highlighting the double standard applied to our team and its pre-season form. Couldn't have done a better job myself.
So if Lloyd kicks bags then that's great form, but if O'hAilpin beats Brown, Thompson, Roughead.......and Lloyd........its only the pre-season and we are getting carried away............right?
So if your individual form is very good and the likes of Stevens, Murphy, Fev, Waite, O'hAilpin, Simpson, Betts, Cloke, Bentick, Thornton, Walker, Scotland (I could go on) are playing really well, then their Individual Form is sensational, but if that translates into a team win, nay.....a grandfinal win then it means nothing...............right.
So what did you get out of a pre-season with poor individual form AND poor team form?
I'll take our lead in, thanks.
