if ryder was available we would play both him and lobbe... i dont see why howard couldnt fit into the team.
he would do more around the ground and infront of goals than lobbe
^ :thumbsu: it's why I was disappointed Dougal is not playing on Sunday. Perfect time to debut him. He wouldn't get killed in the ruck and
it would be reward for a strong pre-season. Heaven forbid Lobbe could go down anytime and now is when to trial Doogs with Lobbe.
Any objective person would have Dougal over Lobbe. Last night at the Parade he showed how wide the gap is.
I'm not saying drop Lobbe but I am saying play both asap! FWIW a big opportunity missed.

There is a massive gap, didn't Lobbe absolutely kill them when he was dropped to the SANFL late last year?

Do you want me to be honest or diplomatic. Both answers would not be the same.
Lobbes is important his fitness crucial but so is getting AFL games into Howard. Sunday no Dougal ='s chance missed.

"It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses."

"Hit it." - The Blues Brothers

This is where it starts. The road to redemption for a ****ed up 2015 season. This is when we get the band back together and start playing the football that we know we are capable of. Ruthless, aggressive, tough, uncompromising football, from the first bounce to the final siren. We need to come out breathing fire and eating glass and make a definitive statement to the rest of the competition that we will not be intimidated. That nothing can deny us what is our birthright, the reason we exist.

I don't want a Richmond-esque performance on Sunday...a horrible paint by numbers performance that raises more questions than it gives answers. We need to be switched on right from the beginning, because it's the ability to destroy teams that are noticeably weaker across the ground that puts fear into the hearts of the other opponents we meet. People would have looked at what the Tigers served up on Thursday night and thought "Hey, maybe we can take these guys." We can't afford that. Not after last season. It's time to rebuild our home ground into something that should be feared, and it starts on Sunday afternoon. The players know what we expect. It isn't rock and roll football...but football with substance, where the cheers are just as loud for a great tackle as they are for a miracle snap at goal.

Time to **** some campaigners up and make them feel what it's like to play Port Adelaide football.

We're on a mission from God.

Seeing that Adelaide Oval surface last night is making me nervous about injuries on Sunday :(

Thought exactly the same thing, if any player and that includes Saint's players gets injured as a direct result from that relaid turf, then look out SMA.

I can't believe in this day and age that we cant have the sightscreens at adelaide oval, (all australian venues) sitting where the seats are. I mean people can't sit there for cricket anyway so why not utilise that space.

Was our pre-game ritual?

When they couldn't even put it on ice for one week to see off the heart and soul of the club in Michael Wilson?

If some dickhead ever tries to tell you the march/Rudimental/NTUA/ceremonial first goal is rubbish, spit in their eye and hoy'em into the 'rrens.

The funk squad was the bane of my existence. Miss feel is a dance teacher, and every ****ing home game she would savage them claiming they were shit, out of time, and poorly choreographed while spurting all sorts of dancing terminology.

Their long awaited sacking gave me respite from her unbridled rage.

Add:

On ground "VIP area" where people were allowed to stand awkwardly on the boundary line and watch the players from 30cm closer than usual.
