On a side note Bennell exceeded my expectations. He was very good and was great below his knees at important times in the back half.

great start to season.
a bit rusty in parts with skills..still bombing a bit, not as much, maybe less in future.
should all come together more next few games.

bennell looks good. zippy pace and swervy stuff- we've needed one of those!
cripps on the rise..didnt see ellis too much, hardworking.

whats exciting at this very early stage, it seems depending on who we play, different players will come to the fore, such is the depth.

was impressed with our dominance,
but against little pressure (compared to other challenges to come this year) i thought we were wasteful going inside 50 at times.
sides like hawks and freo are clinical at finding someone 25m out for an easy goal.

All round good performance. I think you really have to take the last quarter with a grain of salt, our game plan really fell out the window.

Really impressed with what Bennell brought to the team. Solid defence and good run when it needed to be provided. Hope he continues improving, he could cement a spot in the team if he keeps playing with that intensity.

Tackling pressure was good, i just think we fell into the bad habit of bombing it long too many times for my liking.

Im sure Simpson will have something to say about it.
