Currently watching the third quarter.
Best bit is the commentators talking about Melbourne as if it's a fait accompli that they will win.

Butters goal after the siren. Slick.

I thought Evans defensive pressure was alright, but thats all it was. There was nothing to his game outside of that. And that play late in the last quarter there was absolute garbage.

He might improve like Jed has, but you can't play both.

Carn Macca, Frank the Tank had lost a bit of blood earlier. Mitigating circumstances? probably certainly

Yep he gave up an inside the boundary line ball too easily but it's an inexact science after all.

He was clearly buggered now over to my favourite player

Liked Dylsy Williams again... still. There's something about him.

A laconic, sure footed, street smart guy oozing aplomb... this guy's arrived.

He's had his doubters but alongside what he does down back it's meant DBJ n others can be fwd.

Being able to 'rest' The Hornet at FF ffs.

Tighten my seatbelt

Zak take a bow n Conner too.

Watching the replay and those orange boots getting around and sticking more tackles, handballs out than I noticed watching live.

Wouldn't say he's currently proving that he's first 22 but over the season you need 34+

Fantastic win. Haven't watched it yet as OS but can't wait to watch it on delay soon. Butters back to his brilliant pre-injury form. In fact he's even better than that atm. Could take out the coaches award at this rate. Living up to number 9 beautifully.

Still missing Dixon, Marshall, Rioli and Duursma from our best team. Out would go Lord, Evans, Farrell and Bonner, with Burton going back into defence to replace Farrell, Duursma on the wing and Dixon, Marshall and Rioli to relieve Lord, the forward version of Burton and Evans.

Said at the start of the year that the inclusion of an explosive threat like Horne-Francis around stoppage would allow Butters and Rozee to elevate to another level. This midfield will be all time, and if we can keep the likes of Bergman and Williams happy, it could be dynastic.

This team has the fortitude to win a flag. You can see it in the way they continue to stick to the process no matter what the outcome and how they trust the system to deliver.

Slick n schmick. It was Zak's night.

The young man shone. Stats prove it.

AA in the bag all being well. Already overdue?

Simon Goodwin looks like an extra from Housos.

Zak Butters. 41 possessions. 2+ goals.
Gives an after game interview like he's not even broken a sweat.

Legend.

Hey Brodie......

Ken's never had a issue with not being authentic.
I don't think he just comes to work for the sake of it. He wants the best for this group and will give it all for them but at the end of the day I don't think he's a good match day coach.
Meh give it a rest and enjoy the win ffs

I'm still on the bottom line, but undoubtedly a win like today has you moving to the left.

The Saints win was just the type of hard tough win we've coughed up time and time again, and then the Melbourne win tonight against a top 2 side, depleted, in a night game at home which we usually choke, is a fantastic, fantastic win. However many years of failure isn't overwritten in a night. We have work to do, but we're tracking in the right direction. We must win next week now.
